Five minute job to replace (once the old one is out)
UPDATE DEC 2025 So the hot water valve started dripping from the centre spindle after 3 years' service. It could no doubt have been sorted out but I chose to just reorder the same valves again. Not only are they cheap, I knew they fitted the existing tap heads (20 splines). It took literally about 5 minutes to replace the valve, although the spanner required is now 17mm (up from 15mm). Tap head still fitted just fine and it's no longer leaking when turned on. END UPDATE It was easy to install; just hand tight initially then box spanner (15mm - different to the old one) to ensure no leaks (O-ring visible in the photo). Problems? Getting the old one out. For a start, it used a 17mm box spanner but was well seized-up. However, once I got that out (tip: I used two strips of very thin plywood either side of the kitchen tap, all wedged together with a rather large adjustable spanner to brace the tap as I cracked it open) and cleaned up the spigot where the new value was to go it was plain sailing. Warning! Although these are marked red/blue for hot and cold this is not (always) true. The hot tap I removed (on the left) was marked blue and I had to put a blue one back in, to get the tap lever to turn the correct way. Best to check before final tightening. Lovely smooth action with the new tap in place and best of all: NO DRIP! Good value for money assuming this doesn't start dripping in 2 years (the time it took for the old one to do so).

Superb
Superb item. My kitchen tap was dripping and becoming stiff to use . I easily replaced the valves using just 2 screwdrivers and a smallish spanner . A flat screwdriver to turn off the water ( under the sink ) , a cross head to release the tap heads and the spanner to remove the valves . 10 minutes max and I'm 80 . No drips , easy movement , no problems . Reccomended .

Ok sorted the drip but tap was loose
Had to pack the tap with washers as it was lose even when fully tightened. This worked and does the job.
