Works well on my carpet runner in my hallway. Easy to cut with scissors. It's very clear so I can see my rug easily through it. I needed 8 feet so used the left over for my area rug between the couch and coffee table. It fits nicely. It shifts a little bit but I expect that.

Love this stuff! Lots of pets in the house and someone always has an accident somewhere. Put in hallways and even on carpeted stairs. Slips around a bit but not terrible.
