Sensor is very sensitive to movement. Ideal at top if stairs or above front door. Very bright light, batteries last about a month, but that woukd depend on use. Our landing has no window so very dark even during the day, so light is ideal for young grandkids or anyone who might be a little iffy with mobility.Definately recommended for house, garage, shed, understair cupboard too. Also handy if you have a power cut too. Also worth buying rechargable batteries and charger if it gets a lot of use.

Good bright light for my utility room, saves me having to wait for the strip light to wake up when I’m just nipping in for something quick. I have it hanging on the door as am no good with a drill but it works fine and is out of range to be triggered by walking around in the kitchen next door. Was hoping to be able to fix it with Command picture hanging strips but it is very heavy so used a cord through the back plate to hang it instead. Yet to see how long the batteries last but I only have it on night mode so hopefully it will be a while.

Like others said, instructions were not clear. There is a YouTube video to help with that.But the light is fantastic!I installed mine in the loft. As soon as I appear in the loft, the light comes on automatically nice and strong so I clearly see everything I need.After I leave the loft I can see the light go off after 20 seconds (waiting downstairs with the hatch opened).So it works really well and I have no hesitation recommending it.

This light does just what we wanted. We should have got one years ago. It is installed in a hall cupboard and works very wel. I can highly recommend it.

I purchased this light for use in a summerhouse, where I enjoy sitting at night when our noisy neighbours are indoors and all is quiet in the garden. The light emitted is perfectly adequate but the fact that it goes out after only 20 seconds makes it next to useless for me. I like to sit quietly in the summerhouse reading but unless I continuously wave my arm about this is impossible because I am plunged into darkness! If only it were possible to disable the motion sensor so that the light stayed on for as long as it is needed.

Got this for my outside shed, easy to fix and does the job.

Easy to put together, easy to fix....fitted in attic space so that when the is hatch opened and reaching for telescopic attic ladder with the hook the motion detector kicks in to provide light to the immediate area and beyond. Positioned correctly this is exactly what we were after...good level of brightness and no faffing about looking for light switches. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend not only for attics but I can see it's usefulness in cupboards and the likes.
