Q: Will this remove automotive wheel bearing snap rings? How durable? I am mechanic. Would use 3-5 times a month, dont do too much suspesion work..

I'm also a mechanic and the answer is no, the tool is not that strong. I used mine to remove the snap ring in my Honda Civic AC compressor and it was barely up to the task.

Yes they have 2 ends for internal and external each with sorrento size tips

Q: What is the minimum distance between tips when closed, outside of tip to outside of other tip?

The distanced between the opening when the tips are closed is 3/32" .
