This product could be great but is not at all functional as-is. The inserts which make this a universal fit are made of really soft plastic. If your casement mechanism has any amount of resistance to it, these inserts will fail immediately. The insert REALLY needs to be metal to avoid this issue. As is, they wont' open your window.Also, they don't lay quite as flat as I'd have hoped. Even if the inserts worked I wouldn't be terribly happy with this product.

This would work great if you had a zero friction window crank. However, real windows require some amount of force. This junk has plastic inserts of various sizes which are supposed to be able to convey power from turning the crank to turn a small metal gear. Unsurprisingly, the plastic simply gives when anything other than light pressure is applied.

The handle portion of this product is fine. Just like every other folding handle casement handle design. The failure for this product is the liner sleeves that allow this to fit multiple brands or sizes are made of inexpensive plastic. Mine stripped out with the second use. The plastic isn't durable enough to handle the torque of the cranking handle. The idea is genius, but poorly executed with substandard materials. There are some designs here on Amazon with metal sleeve liners. Look for the images with line drawings...

Our blinds always got hung up on the window cranks of our casement windows. These folding ones allow the blinds to go over the top of the cranks when they are folded. We had tried the little T type cranks, but these were hard to close and open the window. They installed easily, but needed a good twist of the screw driver to get them tight. A couple pulled off and I had to reinstall, so I either did not get them seated correctly, or did not get them tight enough. I may be buying more as we have a few more windows to go!

We have Pella Pro Line Casement windows. We need crank handles to fit behind the new blinds we put on the windows. These fit great, folds in just enough so the blinds fit over the handles. Very easy to install after you remove the original handles!

Simple and easy to install but not very confident it will last long. Plastic inserts used to adapt crank shaft size are very flimsy and I fear the plastic insert will strip and the crank will be useless if any significant torque is applied.

The older crank handle that I had interfered with the roller-shades that I recently installed. This folding version solved that problem and it works well. However, I noticed that it sometimes loosens and won't turn, so it has to be re-tightened.

Bought this to replace an old handle that had stripped out. Easy to install, but the plastic inserts stripped almost instantly. Said heck with it and epoxied it and so far it is holding strong. Obviously it might be fun removing the handle if that's ever necessary, but hopefully that will never be my problem.
