A Godsend!
I have been unable to walk due to a very painful heel condition (feels like one big bruise). I tried crutches but they were a pain. A scooter is also a headache to maneuver. Then I found this wedge shoe. My life has changed as now I can walk with little pressure on my heel. The quality is outstanding & it is built to last. Some complain that the material it's made out of is too hard but that's what makes it so durable & enables me to walk anywhere (little pebbles rarely get stuck in the ridged sole) & gives the shoe its utility. I suggest wearing a sock with it so as not to soil the shoe also, after you set the toe velcro the way you want it, leave it alone & just adjust the strap (which I shortened using pinking shears) when you slip the shoe off & on. This has been a game changer for me & so glad that I finally discovered this (though finding it a few weeks earlier would have saved me a lot of hobbling around). I was concerned that the sole would be too thick & make one leg longer than the other but paired with a running shoe on the other foot, I see no difference. This is one good product! My foot is a size 7-7.5 & I got the small size (my toes come to the very edge of the shoe) a medium might have been the better size choice but I like the snug way this one feels. If you are enduring heel pain for one reason or another, this will give you fantastic relief as it puts the weight more on the ball of the foot.

Plantar Fasciitis Shoe
This shoe helps with heel pain. I have plantar fasciitis and this is the only shoe I've found that relieves pressure from my heel. I measured my foot from the longest toe to just passed my heel and it measure 10". I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. It is true to size. The shoe is slightly heavy and bulky. The velcro strap that goes across the ankle is a little awkward until you get used to it. The velcro is good quality. It holds. There is a slight adjustment in learning how to walk in it because the footfalls land on mid-foot instead of heel. Overall, this is a good buy for those suffering with heel pain.

Did what it should
It's a sturdy sandal that is easy to put on and comfortable on the foot. Walking was a little awkward since it did not match the other shoe in height but it got easier with practice. It offered an opportunity for some walking while the wound healed and new skin grew.

Works great till it falls apart.
Purchased first shoe and the end broke off after 12 days of wearing. Hoping it was a fluke (because it really did help my heel pain), I purchased a second one. The whole bottom came off on Day 2.

A help not a cure
A mixed bag!! Absolutely no balance problems of any sort. It feels slightly peculiar but does not interfere with gait or balance. The down side is that it reduces but does not eliminate heel pain. Still , I'm more comfortable with it than without it.

Old timer with bursitis issues
I have a few of these, unfortunately not ever where I am. While it helps bursitis of the heel, be careful not to wear continuously. Will shorten your Achilles which is not what you want. Roll your ankles and smaller achilles flexes to relieve as well

It's difficult but it works
It does take some getting used to and is hard on other joints as it completely alters your balance. It works as intend though an keeps the weight of a sensitive area.

Great alternative to boot
This post op shoe was a great alternative to the heavy knee-hi boot originally prescribed. Weighed probably a tenth of the boot.

Cet article est comme il est décrit. Quand vous avez de gros pansements, impeccable, mais quand c'est juste pour un escart au talon la chaussure est grosse et lourde. Mais le principal c'est que ça soulage quand même

I had plantar fascitis and bought this hoping for relief. Nope. It was very uncomfortable to use because I had no other shoes with the same heel height. Imagine wearing one heeled shoe or boot and just wearing a sock on the other foot. Hard to walk, right?! That's what wearing this shoe is like. It also makes a loud clunking sound. I'm sure neighbours were looking out the window at me as I clopped down the sidewalk, wondering who the pirate with the peg leg was. And....to boot....no pun intended......it didn't offer much relief. Honestly, i you have plantar fascitis, do yourself a favor and go see a physiotherapist. I tried a bunch of products trying to relief my plantar fascitis and nothing helped very much. After only one session with a physio, I began to experience improvement and a mo th later it was almost gone.

Just used my shoe for the first time. What a relief! Have been hobbling around for a week trying not to put my heel down, it was painful & exhausting. Now I can walk again without the intense heel pain. Bit of advice, try matching your other shoe to the same height as the Vive shoe. Makes walking so much easier. Thanks for the quick delivery, it’s made such a difference.
