In college I took 5 related courses and found that they provided insight to everything I did from raising kids to dealing with management problems at work. Review: Good so far - Big book, it's packed. Good so far. Bought it since the online free Yale Univ psychology course lecturer recommended it, so I bought the cheap earlier edition (same as used on the 2008 course, I figured that's good enough). Good intro book, so far.

Big book, it's packed. Good so far. Bought it since the online free Yale Univ psychology course lecturer recommended it, so I bought the cheap earlier edition (same as used on the 2008 course, I figured that's good enough). Good intro book, so far.

Perfect for someone who wants to self study and it not spend too much.
This was the book that was used in my psychology course in college back in the 90s. Back then it was the second edition. I bought the 5th edition because a new one is way too expensive. The shipping was actually more than the book, which I like. The fifth edition is as excellent as I remember in college. If you can find a good used version of this, it's probably just as good as a brand new one.

Excellent study book, complete with online lectures on You Tube EDU - open universities channel. I enjoy it immensly. Really good read, encyclopedia quality print. Warm reccomendations.
