First impressions
I've only been using this for a day, but will update this review later on.Filter:Wow the filter is excellent at removing foul tastes from tap water. I live in a city with a lake fed water supply, and late summer algae blooms in the lake make the water taste terrible. It's allegedly hard to get rid of the compounds in the water from the algae blooms that cause the bad taste and odor, but this filter performs flawlessly. That said, the large filter on my refrigerator performs this task just as well, but anecdotes I've seen about our city's water quality imply that a Brita isn't fully able to eliminate the algae issues.Leakage:I filled up the bottle, turned it upside down, and no water leaks out. Time will tell if it continues to hold up in this regard, but so far so good. I hope it will remain leak proof as I would normally be carrying this in a sling bag and a messenger bag, which would both hold the bottle at angles that would probably cause leakage.Capacity:As mentioned in most reviews, you cannot drink all of the water due to the design of the filter. You're left with 4-6oz of inaccessible water, depending on how you have the filter oriented and the bottle angle (I'm still experimenting on which way is best). This would be less of an issue if the filter only had the opening on the bottom instead of the sides, but I assume this is a design trade off for maximizing filter effectiveness and reducing the pressure needed to draw water through it. I'm ok with the compromises made here, but you might want one of the 48oz bottles instead if capacity is a concern for you. Also note that the 32oz rated capacity includes the filter displacement, so subtracting 4oz of inaccessible water, you can get 28oz of drinkable water per fill.Side note, if you have a Nalgene / Guyout stainless 38oz bottle and are curious if the lid from the Epic Nalgene bottle fits, it does fit, but it also does not seal well enough and will leak. You might be able to really crank it down to get it to seal up, but I didn't want to damage the threads.UPDATE: I used this for a week on vacation for all drinking water in Orlando at a hotel and in the theme parks. If you're familiar with the water in this area, it has a strong sulfur taste and smell, but this filter eliminated it completely. I also had zero issues with the lid leaking, and all in all this bottle / filter performed flawlessly for me all week long. The only con to this bottle is that you can't filter water for others with it.UPDATE 2: I liked the 32oz so much that I ended up getting a 48oz as well. Still no issues with leaking with either of them.UPDATE 3: The new filter design allows you to drink almost all of the water with no trouble, nice! I'm two years in on two of these bottles, still working great, still no leaks.

Excellent water bottle
I have always loved the Nalgene water bottles, and now I can have that with an Epic Water Filter! Love the design of the mountains! I can now drink water from any source and not worry about nasties in it! The water tastes exactly like the water from Epic Water Filters large capacity pitcher, so you know the filter is the same! The bottle is not leak proof, just dont leave it on its side or top. When drinking, its almost like their is no filter on the end, very little resistance. When you start a new filter theirs a little resistance, but thats cause its new and you got to get the filter wet. Always feel refreshed and energized after drinking from Epic Water Filters. Non filtered tap water makes me more thirsty and feel kind of crummy afterwards. Definitely worth getting this water bottle!

BEST WATER BOTTLE FILTERS EVER!!!
Got my first water bottle and filter from this company 4 years ago and they are the best ever! The water bottle is amazing quality (duh, I would expect nothing less from Nalgene) and has remained pristine after me beating it up from daily use. The art on the outside still looks beautiful and the lid is also good as new.The filter itself is what drew me to purchase it in the first place. Compared to other popular brands’ filters, Epic filters will filter out more contaminants at a higher percentage. The information Epic has on their website about each contaminant and the tested results of their filters is amazing.Just got my new bottle because I wanted a bigger one and am just as pleased already! It’s a testament to the quality of the bottle and filters that this is the first new water bottle I have purchased since my original one!I could write a whole love letter to my water bottles I love them so much!!Good bottle, buy it!

Great filters
I really like the filter and how compact it is. Fits in the bottle good. Keeps water tasting refreshed. It’s easy to clean. I don’t like the straw very much or the lid. I’d prefer a wide mouth lid. I’d buy it again in the future.

My water tastes great!
This has to be one of the best things I have ever bought. The water tastes really, really good. It’s actually better than bottled water.

Mush have!
This water bottle is worth the money. I love that there are 2 filters, one for everyday use and one for taking on a hike. Purple is my favorite color so it’s a plus.

Nice and tall
Is it really tall now good plastic pretty cool design. It comes with a straw and filters type thing. The filters were hard to suck through. I thought they're kind of gimmicky. I ended up taking out the straw and the filters. I have them in case I ever want to use them in the future, but I just kind of use it to drink out of the top with this a cool idea called design just might not be the perfect thing, but I love how tall it is makes me drink more water which we need

Make the pacific plastic patch a little smaller.
It came with two filters. The everything filter which is the white one that is shown in all of the pictures and some kind of "tap water" filter (I forgot the name of it, sorry). I'm using the everything filter for tap water because I want the best filtration and the water does taste better. The bottle seems well made, sturdy and does not leak when turned upside down. If what the company claims about the filtering abilities are true, its well worth the money. The water should be even cleaner than bottled water because microplastics are found in bottled water. I also like that it filters heavy metals, bacteria and pharmaceuticals. They say you can use this filter to drink water from a fresh water source in the wild but I don't intend on using it that way although its nice to know that's an option in an emergency. If I was going to say something bad about the bottle, it would be that you have to suck kind hard to get the water through the filter and that I wonder about the pop up spout being accidently opened if left giggling around in a backpack.
