I bought this battery as a replacement for the original in my Asus ROG laptop. My laptop is a few years old but still functions very well so when the battery got to the point where the laptop wouldn't stay on unless it was plugged in, I knew it was time to replace it. This battery was a a direct replacement and immediately allowed my laptop to be portable again.I have been using this new battery for 8 months now and it still holds a charge well. I have no complaints with this purchase.

Battery is dimensionally larger than original. Absolutely will not fit safely.Edit: Seller messaged me after making this review and offered a full refund even after the return period. Also found out that Asus initially gave me the wrong part number and I will try to order C41N1531 to see if it fits better in my GL502VS-DB71 model.

Battery operates like it should in the computer. If you have any kind of technical ability the replacement is super easy!

I honestly am not able to make an informed review. I had an ASUS ROG 15.4 laptop, that worked well apart from an aging battery. I swapped it for this battery. It looked of good quality and fit well.I don't know what happened next. I followed the instructions and installed this battery. Computer would not turn on again. It cycled through what appeared to be the beginning of a boot cycle, with caps lock light stuck "on." After multiple DIY attempts, took it into repair shop and was told motherboard was toast.I cannot say with certainty whether it was an issue with battery or with static not being discharged prior to install (I certainly think I followed instructions). At any rate, no laptop. If you buy this battery be very careful about static and consider having pro install it, simple as that process would seem to be.

My battery stopped working and I choose to not change battery until it blocked a bios update. So I went ahead and bought this. Super simple replacement and now u have a laptop that's mobile again!

Micro center told me to get this one, I did. It was in great packaging, had all the tools needed, great quality product, it was perfect. Except it was the wrong part. Ribbon cable was to short. Not their fault. I ordered the wrong part. I found the right part and got it 2 days later. Anyway, It seems nice.

So happy to breath new life into my otherwise great laptop! I'm no longer tethered to the wall because my batter wont hold a charge. Install was easy.

I don't use the battery enough in my laptop enough to give it any kind of decent test. My old one nearly exploded, and this one replaced it. As far as I can tell it works as intended and no problems as of yet.
