Absolutely love this Laptop lap desk. It has All the necessities needed to make it a comfort table. I love the light and phone holder and pull out mouse pad. Definitely would recommend to anybody who spends a lot of time on their laptop.

Fits my laptop perfectly, even with my cooling pad under it. Due to the height of the cooling pad and laptop, the foam wrist pad really just serves the purpose of keeping it all from sliding off, but if it all sat lower, the wrist pad is soft and comfortable. USB light is a little on the weak side, but would be good for coloring or reading if you, like me, have low lighting in your living room. Sliding mouse pad is the perfect size for a track-ball type mouse that doesn't require moving it around. I think if I had a normal mouse, there may not be enough room to maneuver it. The mouse pad itself can be moved to either side if you're left-handed. The phone slot on the mouse pad works well with the size of my phone, though I likely won't be using it because it would be in close proximity to my hand and mouse. The cushion on the bottom is quite comfortable. The only real problem I had is the fact I ordered on March 5th, to be delivered March 7th, and it didn't show up until last night (March 12th). And my only complaint is there is no protective area around the battery pack for the USB, it sits in a little pocket surrounded by fabric. Assuming it doesn't overheat on me, I would suggest this to friends and family

This was a gift for my wife, who has developed a preference for working with her laptop on her lap, on the sofa. This led to some stiff necks (from staring down at the computer on her lap), some lap discomfort (those laptops can generate some real heat), inconvenience with keeping the phone handy, and then the problem that there was nothing to write on if she wanted to handwrite a card or note. This multi-tasking lap desk has solved all of those problems to her great satisfaction. The lap desk is comfortable, raises the laptop up a few inches reducing neck strain, isolates the laptop heat, and gives her a solid surface for occasional handwriting tasks. The mousepad slides easily from side to side, so she can place a phone or cup of tea conveniently on either side. The USB light is surprisingly handy, and helps her see better when working during the evening. It took her a couple of weeks to truly appreciate the gift (hey, it was way better than a vacuum ;-), but after some repeated use she now finds it a must-use item. I probably should give it five stars; the only nit that leads me to lower the rating one star is that the desk seems to be designed for a tablet+keyboard combo, so it has a tablet tray which she doesn't use or need. So I might have preferred a version that was for laptops only. Maybe that's a minor point. In sum, it looks attractive, is well-designed and well-made, and is really useful for someone who likes to work in non-traditional places around the house, like a comfy chair or sofa.

I always read the reviews when researching items, usually looking first at 1-star comments to see what problems may not be described in 4 or 5-star comments. The very few 1-star ratings did not deter me, and I'm so glad they didn't because this lap desk is AWESOME! I had foot reconstruction surgery three months ago and was doing very well, but recently injured the surgical foot, needing to return to elevating it constantly, all while committed to working remotely from home. I balanced my laptop on my 45-degree elevated legs while using blankets to provide a more comfortable typing angle, but the laptop kept sliding and it was very tricky. I prefer a corded mouse and by the end of my 8-hour workday my entire arm was stiff from the awkwardness. This lap desk solved those problems, with the added bonus of having the great USB light! The mouse stays on the extendable mouse pad unless I shift drastically very suddenly. I have an old Dave table purchased years ago that pulls up very closely to me while I'm seated comfortably on the couch and I can just lift the lap desk with my laptop in place onto the Dave table and push it out the way when not being used. The padding is extremely comfortable and provides sufficient balance where the lap desk feels sturdy without added weight, especially since I have an old rotator cuff injury. My only slightly negative comment would be regarding the phone slot, but the issue is so negligible to me that it would be unfair to downgrade the rating by even half a star, this lap desk is so great. I use a wallet style cell phone case for my S7 that won't fit in the cell phone slot so I removed my phone from the case, but the slot is very shallow and I was concerned the phone might take a tumble. The slot is open and while my cell was in it briefly I was able to plug in my charging cord through the bottom. I can imagine using this lap desk easily while sitting upright, either on my Dave table or lap. This is undeniably in the top 5% of my favorite Amazon purchases!

This one is the best one I have seen or used. Ergonomically, perfect for being on video calls and nothing slides around. The side table slides from the left to the right or, stays inside if not needed. A must try. And, worth the price!

I just received my new lap desk a few days ago. My friend had one & I loved hers so much that I ordered one immediately. I just LOVE it. It is so practical & has places for my devices. I love the LED light, the carrying handle & the side mini-desk that slides out either side. I think Sophia & Sam Co. have thought of everything needed in a comfortable lap desk. I have used a much smaller one for many years I purchased from a book store, but this one is so much bigger & better. The other one will still have some use, but I am using this new one constantly. Thanks for a great product!!

Great quality lap desk. Light is enclosed in a handy storage pouch. Desk makes laptop work easy and comfortable.
