Big John Bariatric Commode Chair

I love the big seat! It is really comfortable. The seat lid does fall down a lot in transfers. I wish there was a hook or something to lock it place when it is up. My only real issue is the bolts and nuts to hold it in place on are plastic. They get loose all the time so we are constantly tightening them. Recently bought metal ones to replace the plastic ones. The outside frame is ok but I wish it was a little bit more sturdier since it has a very high weight limit on it. I wanted a heavy duty one that would last a long time and not move around. I have to use it to take my baths so I don't want it moving around with me on it. All in all so far it is working out for my needs.FYI Instructions for putting it together were generic; not specific to this partial seat. Even the pieces that came with it did not match the pictures. It just took a little bit of brain power to figure out the pieces I had and what they kind of matched to the one shown in instructions.

was not fully assembled. locking pins were not engaged. errors missed by quarlity control.

Received today, assembled today, taking apart and putting back in carton. In my opinion very poor design. During assembly, seat fell on my arm bruising my arm. The pail is hard to remove and reinstall. The connectors for the bars are all plastic, any again in my opinion could be prone to fracture during use. I have other Big John products but I will not be using this product.
