Great, Versatile Lumbar Support.
This is a great product. I have two bulging discs in my lumbar spine and need lumbar support whenever I am sitting for moderate to long periods of time. The thing that I really love about this particular lumbar roll is how adjustable it is. For instance, when I mention that I need lumbar support when sitting, that covers a wide variety of situations. I'm sitting when I drive, when I'm at the computer, when I'm traveling on an airplane, and when I'm on the couch watching tv. But there are big differences between my car seat, my computer chair, my couch, and an airplane seat. The Wonder Roll allows me to add or subtract air with a simple twist of the self-filling valve in order to "dial-in" the perfect support for whatever sitting situation I am in. I highly recommend this roll for anyone who needs regular lumbar support and who find themselves in a variety of sitting situations where being able to adjust the level of lumbar support to "fit" the seat is important. As a bonus, you can deflate the support and roll it up to approximately the size of a soda can so it can easily fit in your carry-on luggage, backpack, or briefcase.

Lifesaver!
I have chronic lower back pain so I need seats that have strong lumbar support. Unfortunately I also have to fly a lot for my job, forcing me to endure hours strapped into the tiny torture devices known as airplane seats. This pillow is a lifesaver and relieves the back pain caused by travel. It easily and automatically inflates and adjusts to whatever fullness you prefer. And in two seconds you can deflate it and pack it into your carry-on. I keep it in my briefcase and it takes up less space than a small book and weighs even less. Highly recommend!

It'll work... but for how long?
This item was recommended by my doctor who is treating my back pain. It arrived in one day... which I really appreciate. It seems like it will help my posture while I'm seated, but I'm concerned about the durability of the belt attach points on the ends of the inflatable cushion. There are 2 thin strips of light weight plastic (vinyl?) keeping the belt attached. I expect them to fail quickly. The brief instruction sheet that came with the product describes it as a devise which should be attached to the back of a chair. I didn't anticipate using it that way. I plan to fasten it around my waist. After seeing the flimsy attachment points, I'm not surprised that the manufacturer doesn't mention that wearing the devise is a recommended use. Unfortunately the "wearing" option will be the most useful. Fastening the Wonder-Roll to the back of an arm chair is problematic. To properly position it to the spine it probably needs to be mounted below the arms of the chair. That won't work on my favorite recliner. Nor will it work very well when I board an airliner... although the included instructions suggest that "Air Travel" use is anticipated. The only way I could use this devise sitting on an airplane will be wearing it as a belt. I hope it makes the trip without coming apart. EDIT: After wearing the Wonder-Roll for about 2 hours, during which I watched TV and spent some time at my desk, I removed it and photographed the strap attachment points. The only way this product will last another day without failing is if I modify it... and void the warranty. Oh... there is no warranty... at least I can't find one. I'm downgrading my rating to 1 star.

Keep in suitcase for travel
This is a wonderful transportable device to take on the airplane for those excruciatingly uncomfortable seats. It automatically inflates then you just undo the nozzle, roll it up and the air blows out for easy transport in your carry on purse/bag/suitcase. It's small enough when inflated that you can move it around from horizontally on your lower back, to vertically up your spine and everywhere in between while sitting in those seats. The flexibility is great. You can make it firmer or softer as needed. It's wonderful!!

Back pain from flying no more!
I'm 6'6" and flying is always painful for me. Usually takes me a couple weeks after flying to un-pretzel my back. I used this on my last trip which involved over 4hr flights and my back didn't hurt. It was a game changer for me. I was concerned that it would get sweaty from the material or that it was going to feel like a hard bubble on my back but I experienced no such problems. The adjust-ability of it allowed me to get just the right amount of lumbar support. My only complaint is that the self-inflating part didn't work every time. It was only a minor issue though.

Nice Lumbar Support Device for Airline Travel
I used this on a trip to Europe over the holidays this year, and while I cannot rave over them as some type of extraordinary breakthrough, they did indeed help me with my lower back (lumbar) pain on the flight both ways. One of the things that differentiates this product is that it is inflatable, which may not mean anything to you at first, but it affords two functions: first, you can (within limits) customize the diameter of it to fit your need (sort of like the adjustable lumbar support in the front seats of some cars), and secondly, you can roll it up tight with all the air out to store it in a very tiny bag when not in use. That means it's not taking up all this space in your luggage, hotel room, etc. The design is nice, too, in that, when you unscrew the cap, it automatically inflates. (This also means you have to work at it to DE-inflate it.) It has a nice clip strap so you can anchor it around your body. One of the things I do NOT like is that messing with the valve can be tricky: when you get to a desired fill size, and then try to close the valve, air will easily escape, and you have to work on a technique to get it right. But other than that, this is a nice solution to the "back problem" found in almost all airline seats (have you ever wondered why airline seats have no lumbar support, when it would be so easy to implement?), and does so in a tiny package and very low weight. I take off the one star only because of the struggle with getting the valve closed without losing air.

Works well for travel but has a leak after one year.
works well but has a leak. After about one year of using it for travel and car, it has a small leak so it will no longer compress and roll up small to pack it away. I keep it in the car where it still works with a medium amount of air, but I am going to order a different brand for travel.

Comfort everywhere you go!
I bought this due to my lower back pain. I read all the reviews and hesitant at first but, I went ahead and purchase and experience it myself. I waited longer to write my review to make sure that I can provide a review base on my use - so far I am satisfied with it and no issues experienced on the quality. Everything still functioning as expected. I've been using it at home during working and watching TV. I used it for a long international flight and it gave me so much comfort while on the plane for a 13.5 hours haul. It is light, you can roll/fold to put in your hand carry bag. I am a satisfied customer and will buy again in the future.

Failed after two uses - but excellent when it was working!
I bought this after researching the many different self inflating cushions because it seemed to have the most positive reviews. Only a few people reported issues and sadly I have to add to that list! It arrived already inflated and I tried it at home on the sofa that evening. Happy with it and as I was driving I took it ready inflated to the cinema the next day. Normally I use public transport and wanted this because it could be deflated for easy transportation. It worked brilliantly on the cinema seat - I have chronic lower back issues and often find watching a long movie quite torturous. However when I used it again at home that evening it began to deflate and I had to keep opening the valve to reinflate every 10 minutes. Not acceptable so I decided to return it. I opened the valve, manually deflated the cushion and firmly closed the valve for the return, but when I came to package it up it had completely reinflated itself! I tested this several times with the same result. Clearly a fault. However, I liked it so much when it did work I am considering ordering again to see if I was just unlucky. Another reviewer commented that theirs failed after two years. That length of time would be acceptable to me for an item of this price, but not 24 hours! As a add on to this review, one month later I am still waiting for my refund. Meanwhile I have ordered and promptly received a product from a different supplier which arrived promptly and works perfectly. I am disappointed at the lack of customer service re this product. On reading more of the older reviews it seems the valve failure is a more common issue than I thought. I would no longer recommend.
