My all time favourite men’s cologne !! Created for Emperor Napoleon and his Empress back in 1853 !! Wonderful citrusy aroma. Nothing that people around you would find objectionable! Great for summer and spring especially. But I wear it year round. Incredibly beautiful bottle! CLASSY AND ELEGANT ! Only downside is that the longevity is just medium. On my skin it lasts about two to three hours.😢 But you can always carry a small travel vile , and reapply during the course of the day . Definitely not inexpensive, but worth it !!!👍🇫🇷😊

This is listed as "for Men" but is the same unisex cologne that you find in the women's perfume department in Canada's largest department store (at twice the price). It is a very fresh, non overpowering, light cologne. The only downfall, is that it doesn't have much lasting power - but that is one of this cologne's characteristics.

Ein Traditionsunternehmen mit Ideenreichtum ;-) Das Eau Imperiale ist einer der ältesten Düfte das Hauses Guerlain und wurde im Auftrag der Kaiserin Eugenie entworfen. Anfangs erinnert es an Kölnisch Wasser, aber zur damaligen Zeit war das bei fast allen Parfums der Ausgangsgeruch. Nach einer Weile wird es ein leichtes Parfum das sich unter anderem fürs Büro eignet um Arbeitskollegen einen Angriff auf deren Geruchsnerven zu ersparen ;-) Gut ist das man es als "Foundation", also "Untergrund" unter anderen Düften tragen kann um diese noch etwas mehr zu betonen, Clever gemacht Monsieur Guerlain ;-) Wer nach Tradition und "kaiserlich" duften möchte der bestellt sich Eau Imperiale :-)) Hier ist es recht günstig zu haben, im freien Handel ist es wesentlich teurer und auch nicht in jeder Parfümerie zu bekommen.
