This is a really nice sounding Bluetooth device!
Okay so upon initial opening up the product I noticed immediately the weight these were really heavy and a lot larger than I expected. They are labeled as master and satellite so you know which ones are what. Pairing them with a cell phone is simple. the actual sound out of them is fantastic. The light is a white light and is very bright. In the application you have the ability to control the lights and speakers. The lights are dimmable within the app however if you are expecting to connect this to any echo device it will not connect I have tried for about two hours to get this to connect through Bluetooth and it will not connect that being said in addition to this if you have these installed in areas where there is a light switch and you turn the switch off you lose the Bluetooth connectivity and will have to reconnect it. If this was able to pair with the echo I would be keeping these as they sound really really good. JBL has been a power player in professional audio speakers for decades and their quality is fantastic. Unfortunately they do not work for what I want them for what they may work for you. In addition this does come with a socket extension for each bulb in case you need to extend the length of the base. These speakers only work with the sengled pulse app they will not work with the sengled smart home app. One other observation I did notice was when the master light was on full brightness there was a noticeable hum coming from the light very high-pitched very high frequency not noticeable if you're playing music at all with all the lights on . what is noticeable if you get very close to it if you are more than 2 feet away from the light itself you cannot hear the hum.***UPDATE***So after deciding on keeping this product for their sound quality. I was able to actually get this to work with the echo gen 3. This is how I actually did it if you are unable to connect to the echo even after the device has been disconnected from all other Bluetooth devices turn the power off to the light and back on 3 times then wait for the Bluetooth connection sound, go into your Alexa app and then pair to new device and it should work. Once you have done this and the connection has been paired with Alexa ask Alexa to disconnect the Bluetooth speaker and then connect it to your phone your phone is the only way that you can adjust the lighting make sure that you go into settings and have the app remember the last position.adjust your lights how you want them whether it be on or off I prefer to leave mine off disconnect the Bluetooth from your phone and then ask Alexa to reconnect Bluetooth device once this is done your speakers will now work with Alexa. Just one more caveat after reconnecting the Bluetooth speaker to a power source the hum that was actually in the unit when I first turned it on is no longer there.***Update2***So after purchasing the pulse link adapter I found that the master light will not work with the system so on that note I would suggest if you are planning to make this a artificial surround sound system and I say artificial because it's not true surround sound I would suggest purchasing the pulse link adapter and satellites only you will not need to purchase the pulse amp because the pulse link adapter does have a built-in line out for a powered sub sub. I have this system and it sounds truly amazing with the pulse link adapter you can control any audio device that is plugged into it via remote. right now I have my television plugged into it and it works flawlessly. I will be purchasing at least two more satellites to complete the system I did return the pulse amp as it will not tie in with the pulse link adapter I have decided to keep the master bulb as I will use this as part of my holiday audio scheme. One more small caveat with the pulse link adapter you can also leave your unit connected directly to Bluetooth on your phone and he was it to control the lights as long as you have the wired adapter plugged into the pulse link input I have used a splitter to run all of my audio lines that I wanted directly into the line in on the pulse link and am now able to control the volume with the echo and the TV as well as any other device I decide to hardwire into the pulse link system.

THESE ARE AMAZING!!!
BUY THESE N DO IT NOW!! Worth every cent!!! I really don’t review anything I buy but honestly these are SOOOO AMAZING it was needed in case anyone was on the fence like I was.. I wanted surround sound but I hate looking at speakers and cords everywhere.. I got way more with this then I ever imagined! Prolly the best thing I’ve purchased on amazon In a very long time! You can connect up to 8 bulb/speakers & control them all independently(brightness & volume). After only 10 mins with these installed(takes 2 seconds to setup) I know I DEFINITELY need more of them!!!! 100% recommend these to anyone looking for wireless surround sound. The bulbs are large, more like an outdoor or flood light size then a reg size lightbulb.. I wanted them in my ceiling fan light. They were too big so I just took the glass off an used the bulbs by themselves since they are modern an nice looking.. I think it even looks better then the glass.. GET THESE YOU’LL BE HAPPY I PROMISE 😁

Almost a great product, just needs wifi for controlling the lights
I bought the kit to put in my bathroom shower light and tub light. I thought it would be great to have sound there with bluetooth. The lighting component is bright and warm. It comes with an extension cap to make it fit a 65 watt can light. I added that and put it in. It goes in like any other light bulb. It was much brighter than the traditional 65 watt it replaced. As a light it functions as expected. The one caveat to that is the app only works with Alexa or the Sengled app. I have all Google Home and Nest devices. I have to control it with my phone app. That works but it's not ideal. I wanted to buy 4 for my living room and control them through the Google home voice commands. Since that's not possible I am holding off buying more. It also requires a separate audio to bluetooth adapter to work with the TV. Sengled sells one but it is $49. I may try one of the cheaper alternatives out there first at half the price. As far as the speaker functions, the Sengled has a decent speaker and the sound is ok. The problem you run into (or could run into) is that they are playing from within a can up in the ceiling. It sounds like it is in a tin can. When I am standing in the shower it is better but outside of being directly under the light, it sounds distorted. I was hoping that the sound would project more out of the front and less from the sides. This is still at least a solution. The preset EQ settings allow you to adjust but they seem to be either all highs and no bass or too much bass and mid range for the placement. I may move the lights to a different room to see if they improve any. Again, the lack of voice control from Google Home or at least wifi is a big issue for me. I was hoping that because they are bluetooth that the lack of Google Home integration wasn't going to be an issue. But I feel that you need to control the lights and sound and while I can control the sound via my phone through bluetooth, the lights are still in need of controlling. The last issues I would mention is that you don't want to put this on anything with a dimmer switch. You will need it to be up (for me 100% wouldn't work but about half way it would turn on but that might be my satellite pairing issue with less than 100% power) to have it work. I also tried having mine on 2 different light switches and the second one only worked once correctly. Maybe it's the dimmer, maybe it's the lack of pairing them on the same switch, but the satellite speaker doesn't work again. I get it to light up but the sound doesn't work. It did at first but does not now. I wanted to be able to have one speaker work all the time and use the second one when needed. That doesn't seem to be a scenario that works very well.If they would add Google home integration for the lights it would be a much better product. The lights work great but require the phone app (that doesn't support Android 10 by the way) to be useful. This is fine for a room where you really don't need to control the lights but the speakers seem to need the app more than I would like too. If I put them in my living room I want to be able to dim the lights by routine or voice. I want anyone in the room to be able to control them and not just the ones with the app. It's hard to recommend these yet. I feel like they need some work to improve the software support before it would be a recommended purchase. For the price they are a good value but with the few improvements they could be the top product for this space. They seem to be a hardware company that doesn't know how to develop software to support their products.EDIT: After moving them both to the same socket, I do get stereo sound and they both connect consistently. I realize the real issue is they don't have wifi capabilities and only bluetooth. If they had wifi I could control the lights without having to be connected with sound through bluetooth. I would pay double for that additional feature. It would be nice to connect with bluetooth to stream music but I want to control the lights separate from the sound. This is the real downfall of this product. Maybe they will add wifi to future models. Otherwise, I am connected all the time to control the lights but my sounds come through the speakers, If I were in a one room loft this would be ok but in a house it really isn't practical.

Clear music
This is an amazing product!I use this bulb primarily for the speakers, not for the light. I didn’t download the app.Pros (compared to other bulbs I saw)The setup and installation is seamless, just screw in to the socket and finished.I have a master and 1 reg, they connect to each other automatically without and setup needed. The music plays perfectly synchronized and is amazing to listen too. Both speakers play very clear music, I use it in a space of 400 sf and it provides very good coverage.Another important point, the electricity is controlled by the light switch, I have these bulbs for 2 weeks and have switched on and off the light switch ample times with ZERO damage to the bulbs. It’s perfectly fine to disconnect the electricity.
