Does this case have raised edges for the camera and front display?

Yes, both sides have a nice lip on them. This is my 6th phone with this exact Spigen model. Love these.

Will a Popsocket work well with this case?

Pop Socket fits perfectly and holds up so don't let that keep you from getting the case

Any risk of damaging the screen?

There's always some risk of damaging the screen when your phone gets dropped on its screen, but with this case on, the case will take away some or maybe most of the damage. I personally think this case and the screen protector that came with phone are enough to ease my concerns about damaging the screen. There is no top part that goes over the screen. You can always get a screen protector to help with that or if you really feel you need the extra protection, you can get a thicker/tougher case that has a top layer designed to protect the screen.
