The goDog Checkers Skinny Rooster is a small, brown plush dog toy featuring chew-resistant lining and reinforced seams for long-lasting durability. Its built-in squeaker provides engaging auditory stimulation, while the soft, checkered plush texture makes it perfect for both active play and cuddling.

Small but cute!
FYI this is the SMALL size, not the large rooster. It is surprisingly tough, lasts a long time, even with hard chewers, which is a big plus. It's also very cute, and my dogs have been playing with it for a long time, which makes it a great value.

Hardly a Scratch on it
I got this for my, not super destructive, German shepherd in December. She has chewed and ripped and tugged on this thing everyday. When she tugs on it, I can hear it rip and tear, and yet there is not any visible damage. And it's really cute

THESE ARE THE BEST FOR OUR FUR BABY...HE SAYS SO
This particular "GO DOG" toy is our 20 lb. Shetland Sheepdog's absolute favorite. He has multiple "GO DOG" toys, yet the chicken is the one he constantly carries around & wants to play with...especially when he wants to be a bit rough. The extra long legs makes it perfect for the game of tug-of-war. He has 2 of this colorful sturdy toy. They are kept in 2 different areas of the house. This brand is the one we've found that works the best for our boy. We definitely recommend them. Their value, multiple colors, sound quality of the squeakers and safety make this brand a great choice. I certainly recommend this brand.

Good toy but NOT indestructible
I wanted to be able to leave a 5* review and had high hopes for this. It is not indestructible. Has lasted 2 days unfortunately. Stitching is reinforced but Not for heavy chewers. Super cute interactive, good sized toy though. Would last if I didnt have a husky probably.

Powerful but ear piercing.
Powerful, but ear piercing! It works well, but the noise it makes is super loud and high.

Great toy - my crazy dog doesn’t like it
I had this brand of toy for previous dogs and they held up great and dogs loved the wrinkle sound in the ears. But our new dog is the pickiest thing ever. He won’t touch it. He is not a chewer but the dogs I have had before had a hard time chewing this brand of toy up. So not the toys fault at all just I have a weird dog!

nice quality!
This is a great toy my two dogs didn't chew it up somehow!! They are medium sized and like to chew pretty aggressively so I'm happy that it lasted. They like to fling this one around

Good With Design Flaws
My dog took to them immediately. I bought the rooster and the horse. They've got 3 squeakers I could count with 2 in the feet, which is cool. Each piece is sturdy and difficult to ream. You can feel their toughness just from random handling. However, there are a couple design flaws. First, there are parts on the rooster head that look as if they are begging to be ripped away over time. I had to take scissors to them and I don't think I should've had to do that. Same with the horse's mane and tail. They invite trouble.Secondly, the little furry(??) socks on the rooster feet come off quickly. My 6 mos old Silver Lab did this after about 3 days (see pic). Putting those there was a really dumb idea. The horse came apart. But that's kind of my fault. Let's just say it failed the tug-o-war test. Not sure these are designed for that kind of roughhousing. No, I'm positive they're not because the horse died. Just don't do that. I mean, we really put it through the ringer. All in all, I see the value in these toys but it could've been better. I totally see them being ripped up naturally eventually, but nowhere near as fast as your average plushies. And the parts that come off easily really hurt the marketing scheme. All they needed to do was be less extra.UPDATE: The rooster lasted a little over a month before my 7 mos old lab tore his brain out. To be honest, I've had dog toys not marketed as "durable" last that long. So consider that with your decision.A.
