I have a 16 foot above ground with a saltwater system and this pool shock is great for keeping the algea managed as well as opening the pool for the season. I also use it throughout the season as my pool gets used and starts to get behind keeping the water clean as storm water and wind brings things into the pool. Especially in late July as the water gets really warm this helps me stay on top of algae blooms and it has been effective for green as well as mustard algae both of which cause problems where I am. I just bought 10 for this season and it should last me through the season with plenty left over to open the pool next year. Great stuff and the before and after pictures are not fake, I had the same experience this year. I had a pool full of what looked like split pea soup when I took the cover off this Spring and put the shock in and hooked up the filter and ran it overnight after dumping one of these in and the next day It was crystal clear with just dead algae on the bottom to vacuum up. I use a whole one at the start of the season and about half for each shock every couple of weeks as maintenance. My pool is a 16 foot Summerwaves that I converted to an Intex filter and saltwater system.

I thought I found THE ONE pool shock and ordered it for years until it became unavailable. I had to switch and after lots of searching (there are some very expensive ones out there!) I happened on this, read through the reviews and based on a decent price point settled on it. Oh my god! After just one application, what a difference. The water, which I thought was pretty clear before, went 100 times more clear. Yeah, I should’ve known the small bits of algae here and there were not normal but I guess I just accepted it. No more! This is how the pool should look. I can see through to the bottom of the 10 feet deep end to the drain, so clear and in focus as of it were near the surface. This stuff works and it doesn’t take much—a couple tablespoons for 14,000 gal pool is all it took to make it that clear.

This is the only shock that will get for our small inflatable pool on our deck. A friend told us about this product and now we don’t have to drain the pool to clean it, this does the job and it doesn’t take a lot to do it. This is perfect for your backyard inflatable pool for your kids, and we’ve recommended it to others.

I have used this product in the past and it's great. It is very easy to use and does a great job in the pool. But this review is really about the seller/shipper. They are rude, they lie and they lag horribly at getting you product to you. My was last in shipping. Instead of them sending another and that possibly get lost as well I asked for a refund and they lied saying that it was refunded but there was no confirmation. Had to speak to a customer representative for Amazon and they even confirmed that they had not issued a refund. Please don't waste your time and money with this seller. Find it elsewhere. Sorry for the long read.
