Nice and strong! Should last!
This net is great! It extends long enought to land a fish outside the boat without having to bend over to much. No problem on fish 20lbs the size of the net hoop and the strength of the shaft are better than expected. Using the ruler18.5" on the shaft is easy it is laocated on the shaft paet closest to the net hoop. The measuring ruler is just a sticker but should last a while. After that make your own marks on the shaft or get a new sticker. Treble hooks do not hook into the netti ng because it's coated so another plus. Could be better if the ruler part waa etched in the shaft for longer life vit for the money this beats anything at the stores. So the net is 51" from the bottom of the hoop in the closed position and 65" fully extended and strong in both positions.
