I see a couple of reviews about knots breaking. With fluorocarbonyou have to make sure to tighten your knots SLOWLY as you can burn the line and have weak knots. No problem with tying mono though.

Fast shipping and exactly as advertised

I have this blue label flouro in both 15 and 20 pound tests. I mostly use it as leader material for ice fishing lake trout and it has never let me down. The 15lb is considerably more pliable than the 20lb and therefore easier to tie. That said, all flouro is going to have some memory to it and this stuff is no exception. I trust Seaguar to hold up to the demands of ice fishing and the 36"+ lake trout I chase. Those fish are known for their long runs and more times than not my leader ends up rubbing on the ice hole but I've never had a leader break.

The media could not be loaded.  I caught lots of flounder (fluke) with this product. I met John Skinner, fishing author, Youtube fishing channel celebrity and he mentioned to use fluorocarbon line... I got it and I loved it. Strong, stiff, clear, thin diameter, no stretch.... Great product!!.. Its expensive compared to other lines but it’s worth it cause through the use of the line and my rod, following John skinner descriptions... I get to feel the way my rig swims upon casting and reeling. I get to feel if my lure is dragging on the bottom, if it’s swimming correctly, if it’s a sandy or muddy bottom, if there’s an edge or a hole, if i get a light or a hard hit, what type of fish it is by the way it shakes my line and how big it is. I’m giving it a 5 star review for the success I’ve gotten. However upon writing this post I just ordered Kasting brand of fluorocarbon line via Amazon. I’ll write another honest review upon use. The reason for the switch is that with kastking I’m getting more line for the money. KastKing disappointed me with the Baitfeeder sharky 3 reel so if their brand of fluorocarbon line lets me down... I will be happy in spending the extra money on Seaguar fluorocarbon line.

I purchased this product based on its reputation and have not been disappointed. I am relatively new to using fluorocarbon line for leaders and everywhere I read anything from pro guides to professional fisherman about this material was excellent. I have used this product as my "go to" leader material for an entire fishing season on the Great Lakes and there have been no issues. There is a bit of a learning curve for the appropriate knots to use for fluoro products so do your research and apply it and this product will never be your weak link in your arsenal. I plan to purchase this product in other diameters for the other types of fishing that I do besides trolling. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to others.
