I would recommend 100% for the price but it does have a few short coming.
Pro:-It good value-It's sturdy so long as you put use the right hole for your door-Simple to assembleCon:-It stand 6' 3" on the door frame, even if you were shorter then the average man, when you reach up its too short for full range of motion. You have to be awkwardly bend the knee and make use of assisted band hard but on the flip side its a bit easier. It would also be hard to overload with weights.-The neutral grip bar is where you would want to do normal chin ups or pull ups so your stuck with the wide grip or narrow grip.Still, a cheap barbell set, this pull up bar, squats, and push up you will hit most of the muscle group and save the commute to and from the gym. Its very handy for dead hangs and the convenience factor helps you maintain a regular workout schedule. You don't really lose much for the price and it doubles as a push up parralet.

Sturdy pull up bar
I bought the Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar for my teenage son so he could have a simple way to get some upper body workouts in at home, and itâs been great. He uses it almost every day for pull-ups and chin-ups, and itâs holding up really well. It feels super sturdy once mounted on the doorway and doesnât shift or wobble during use.The setup was really easyâno screws or drilling, which I appreciate. He can even take it down and put it back up himself in a matter of seconds. We also like that it doesnât leave any marks on the door frame. What makes it even better is that it has different grip positions, so he can switch things up in his routine. Itâs a simple, affordable way for him to stay active without needing a big home gym setup.Definitely recommend this if youâve got a growing kid or teen whoâs into fitnessâitâs convenient, solid, and doesnât take up any space.

Well made
Solid piece of equipment and overall a great addition to any home gym. Itâs made with thickened steel, making it feel incredibly sturdy and durable, and it confidently supports up to 440 lbs as advertised. The bar installs easily in a doorway and stays secure during workouts, making it perfect for upper-body exercises like pull-ups, chin-ups, and hanging leg raises. While the overall quality is great, one drawback is the grip pads. They start to show wear and tear fairly quickly, especially with regular use. The padding is comfortable at first, but it doesnât hold up as well over time, which might mean having to replace or adjust them eventually.Despite this issue, the bar itself is excellent and performs reliably. For the price, itâs a good buy, especially if you want a sturdy, high-capacity pull-up bar for home use. Just keep in mind the grip pads might not last as long as the rest of the bar.

Perfect at home workout
I just recently started working on my weight loss and also trying to build muscle. I live in a small town and don't have easy access to a gym so I wanted to get something to workout at home. This pull-up bar was a perfect addition to my equipment.I could not be more satisfied with how simple it was getting this assembled. I am also super grateful it comes with these super adhesive blocks that go behind the bars on the door frame. It helps prevent damage to the door frame after continuous use. Another feature I love is that there are three different points of pull-ups you can do. You have the middle handles, the two handles that stick out, and the ones near the edge of the bar.It is also an excellent push-up bar as well. It is very simple to take off the door frame and put it on the floor. I am not the lightest person in the world, and this bar supports my full weight after continuous use. I use it every night and it has not beveled on me once.A very good and sturdy piece of at-home gym equipment.

Reliable and strong
I'm trying to get more into fitness, and this was the first pull up bar I've ever ordered. Now with that being said I couldn't be happier. The instructions and item are very easy to assemble, and so far im loving it. My current weight is 180 and the bar has no issue in the slightest. No marks, no damage on the roof of the door, nothing. However when building follow the instructions clear to ensure item strength and durability for your safety. 10/10 item

Not bad for the money minus a couple of design flaws
The major oversight is in the instruction manual to place the pull up bar below the 2 elbow bars instead of on top of them. By placing the main bar on top it solves the problem that many have an issue with - breaking the bolt heads that hold the pull up bar in place. Placing the main bar on top of the elbow pieces helps with a better weight distribution. Check the attached pictures. The second flaw is the flimsy connection of two half bars in the middle. If the company cannot afford to make one piece instead of 2 pieces, at least provide some sort of threaded ends for both pieces for a more reliable screw-in connection. I have seen recently a redesign where the connection between two pieces lines up with the bolts attached to the elbow bars (see the attached picture with highlights). It looks like that may be a different approach for a more secure connection that the current design. Another minor problem is the location of the foam grips, but that can be improved by forcibly moving the grips along the bar to a desired spot. Again, you can see on the attached photos the new location for the foam pads that in my opinion may be more suited for the average size person. Once I have done the modifications mentioned above I am less concerned with the overall safety of this product.
