## Description

Product description How does DryEasy bedwetting alarm work? DryEasy bedwetting alarm is a device used to train the users to respond to a full bladder by waking. The users will be woken by the alarm as soon as bedwetting occurs. Such process can gradually condition the brain to respond when the bladder is full and eventually overcome bedwetting problem. This product is intended for use by persons 5 years of age or older. 5 Essential Features Volume control - DryEasy provides 4-level volume control which caters to different needs. Selectable sounds - DryEasy provides 6 selectable sounds to suit users' preference and avoid users from getting used to a particular sound. Random playing - Some users may not respond to the alarm due to inertia. Our random playing feature helps to avoid this phenomenon. Different operation modes - Operation modes include sound plus vibration, sound only and vibration only. Detachable cable - Replacement cable can be bought separately without having to buy a whole new unit. How to set up the DryEasy bedwetting alarm? To test the alarm Connect the sensor to the alarm unit. The alarm will be triggered by touching the sensor tip with a wet finger. Just 3 simple steps Step 1 - Attach the alarm to your pajama top. Step 2 - Route the cord under your pajamas. Step 3 - Attach the sensor to your underwear. Attention Select absorbent underwear: Fabrics such as cotton or modal are recommended. Avoid moisture-resistant materials like silk, coated cotton, or brand-new garments that may repel moisture. Position the sensor in the area most likely to get wet first, such as the front center of the underwear for boys and crotch area for girls. Ensure the sensor is attached flat and flush against the fabric—avoid folds or gaps. Tips for alarm training 1) Parents play an important role in particular at the initial stage of alarm treatment in waking your child as soon as the alarm goes off and are therefore recommended to sleep in the same room with your child for the first 2 weeks of using the alarm. Gradually, the child will be able to respond to the alarm on his/her own. 2) The position of the sensor is important. For boy, it could be better to clip the sensor to the inside flap of their underwear as the sensor can detect the urine quicker. For girls, the sensor should be attached on the crotch area since it is most likely to get wet first. 3) The underwear should be close fitting which is closer to the body and therefore urine will be detected by the sensor more quickly. DO NOT use loose boxer shorts. 4) While alarm training is an effective way to overcome bedwetting, it is not 100% successful. Motivation and persistence increase success rates. Tips for using this product 1) The sound of this alarm is loud, which can be startling for the first time. Please adjust the loudness as needed and choose your preferred sound. 2) In case the alarm does not wake the child, the parent needs to wake the child up when the alarm goes off until the child is trained to wake up on his/her own. 3) This alarm is not waterproof. Do not attach the alarm to underwear to avoid urine from entering the alarm. In the unlikely event that the alarm malfunctions due to wetting, we are ready to help you troubleshoot. 4) This alarm has a two-step turn off feature. The correct way to stop the alarm is to unclip the sensor and then press the reset button. This is to prevent the child from stopping the alarm too easily and falling back to sleep. 5) To test if the alarm unit is working properly, use a paperclip to touch the two metal prongs inside the socket of the alarm unit (see photo for reference). The paper clip has to touch both prongs at the same time. FAQ and Troubleshooting Tips 1) I can't get the alarm to stop going off. This alarm has a two-step turn-off feature, i.e. one can’t simply stop the alarm by pressing a button. Such feature is to ensure the user gets up when the bed is wet. To stop the alarm, the correct way is to unclip the damp clothing from the sensor and then press the reset button. Pressing and holding the reset button without detaching the wet clothes can only snooze but not stop the alarm. For details, you may watch the video entitled "How to connect the sensor and turn off the alarm" as appearing above. Due to the high sensitivity of the sensor, even an extremely small amount of residual moisture can trigger the alarm. For this reason, after cleaning/using the sensor, you should ensure it is completely dry before next time use. 2) It is difficult to clip the sensor to underwear. The clip is designed to securely attach the sensor to the underwear, so it doesn't come off during sleep. It's easy to attach. You can master it by practicing a few times. Tips: It is much easier to attach the sensor by pulling the kid's underpants down to his/her knees. Please watch the video on the detail page for reference. 3) I can't get the alarm to stop sounding even after unplugging the sensor. It may be that the inside of the alarm unit is wet. Please try the steps below. a. Disconnect the cord from the alarm unit. b. Open the battery cover and remove the battery. c. Blow dry the battery compartment and the socket of the alarm device where the cord is plugged in. 4) It only makes quiet ticking sound instead of an alarm sound. If the alarm makes a quiet ticking sound, the battery is most likely dead. Please replace with new Alkaline batteries. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries. 5) Only the vibration works but no sound. The battery is most likely dead. Please replace with new Alkaline batteries. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries. 6) The sensor doesn't work. If the sensor doesn't detect moisture, it may be caused by dirty sensor. The sensor needs to be cleaned regularly to maintain its sensitivity. 7) Alarm doesn't set off in time This may be caused by improper sensor placement or using non-absorbent underwear. (Please refer to Sensor Placement Guide of this product listing) a) Fabrics such as cotton, modal, or viscose are recommended. Avoid moisture-resistant materials like silk, polyester, coated cotton, or brand-new garments that may repel moisture. b) Position the sensor in the area most likely to be affected first, such as the front center of the underwear for boys and crotch area for girls. c) Ensure the sensor is attached flat and flush against the fabric—avoid folds or gaps. 8) The device does not wake our child from sleep. It is very common that a child may not respond to an alarm in the initial stage of alarm training. As soon as the alarm goes off, parents need to help their child wake up. Gradually, the child will be trained to wake up on his own. 9) This item is not useable with diapers or pull ups because the sensor clip tears the material. The sensor should be clipped onto the underwear. Diapers or pull-ups can be worn over underwear. Sensor Placement Guide- Follow these steps to ensure accurate and reliable activation 1. Test the Alarm Unit Lightly moisten the sensor tip with water to confirm the alarm activates properly before use. 2. Position the Alarm Unit Attach the alarm unit securely to the shoulder area of sleepwear. Ensure it is not obstructed by bedding or clothing. 3. Connect the Sensor to the Alarm Unit Insert the sensor cable firmly into the alarm connector port. For comfort and safety, route the cable underneath pajamas to avoid tangling or accidental disconnection. 4. Attach the Sensor to Underwear Select absorbent underwear : Fabrics such as cotton , modal , or viscose are recommended. Avoid moisture-resistant materials like silk , polyester , coated cotton , or brand-new garments that may repel moisture. Position the sensor in the area most likely to be affected first , such as the front center of the underwear for boys and crotch area for girls. Ensure the sensor is attached flat and flush against the fabric —avoid folds or gaps. 5. Check Sensor Stability Gently tug the sensor to verify it is securely fastened and will not shift during sleep. Avoid placing the sensor on seams , elastic bands , or thick folds , which can interfere with detection. Pro Tips Use a second pair of underwear: Clip the sensor to the first pair of underwear, then put on the second pair of underwear so that the sensor is sandwiched between the two underwear. This method ensures that the sensor stays in place and makes good contact with the wet fabric.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: My child sleeps very deeply and is very difficult to awaken. How strong is this alarm? It is designed for these cases?**
A: My son was 7 yrs old and was such a sound sleeper he had never had a dry night. The first week of using the alarm he was awaken by the sound/vibration but had already had an accident. By week 2 he was not waking during the night to go, but was staying dry. It's been 4 months and no accidents! I was amazed how well this product helped my son- we had tried EVERYTHING! I recommended this product to a friend and she had same results. Good luck

**Q: will it work on a pull up or does it have to be underwear only?**
A: It needs to be underwear because it clips on the outside. It works by sensing moisture and it wouldn't be able to do that through a pull-up.

**Q: What do you do with the extra foot and a half length of cord? Im concerned about it getting wrapped around her neck as it is as tall as her. Is there**
A: We didn’t have so much slack, maybe 6 inches. We threaded the cord from her arm into and under her pajama top and hooked onto her underwear.

**Q: My wife is diabled. she wears a poise pad inside a depends night-defense. i want to use this alarm to know when she is wet. what to i clip this to?**
A: You clip one side to a tshirt. And the sensor has to be right where she would be wet, so for my son it's clipped basically right in front of his.... ya know so as soon as he's wet it would go off.
