Doesn’t dry
Looks legit. Doesn’t dry though so it can get messy quick.

Great quality! Made my Zombie costume a success!
I really like this product! It arrived right on time and was packaged appropriately. I used this to make my Zombie Halloween costume look real. This was my first time using blood gel and it worked out great. I added it to the "wounds" on my face and neck. The color of the gel was perfect and very realistic. It didn't dry, so it looked wet the whole time which was great. Even though it was wet it didn't drip. It stayed put really well. It didn't stain my skin and came off easily when I washed my face that night. I don't know if it stains your clothes because the shirt I was wearing was old and tattered so I just threw it away when I was done. Overall I was very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

It's great, but I'm not sure there's a perfect blood product out there either, so don't expect perfection.
This stuff IS extremely gelatinous (as another reviewer mentioned), which I think is MUCH better than the capsule-type stuff I've tried. I've even tried the flavored-blood in past years (do NOT recommend that!). This definitely LOOKS more promising as it goes on...the problem is, you're standing upright! So, as time wears on, it just melts and drips down your face with gravity. The trick is, I think-to make sure it's got something to stick to (ie: some liquid latex or modeling compound), and you're not putting it over-top of some regular clown make-up like the basic-schmasic white vampire face.We did some latex and pancake make up with powder AND barrier spray over top...and I noticed it started separating and pooling on the latex after a while...but held up much better than other products. I'm clearly not a Hollywood Special-Effects Make-Up artist, so my technique is more than amateur I'm sure...but I'd say I probably did what the average person who's buying products in this price range would do!Overall...this product is MUCH better than the array of other stuff we've tried, and it held up satisfactorily to a 3-hour outdoor trick-or-treating excursion just fine.
