My daughter is 8 and she was gripped by this book. Read it day and night and finished it very quickly.She told me about the story and characters with great enthusiasm, but without spoiling it, you can get this from the publishing blurb to judge if your child might like it.It's a good move on book for a slightly more grown up story for children with new confidence in reading.

As with all her books it is agood read. Will now be passed onto my grandchildren.
