The red wire says "18AWG" Other specs: E168110 AWM 2651 VW-1 105°C 300V ET1 **Q: What is the ID of the battery connections** A: Red positive. Black ground. Same as all batteries. **Q: Does this work for motorcycle batteries?** A: Yea it will work: fine on lead acid/ AGM/no maintenance type - but not for the newer lithium ion type ( say Ballistic for example which don't like tenders and want a balanced charge) I use this on 2007 Triumph 1050 Sprint and it works great. The recondition function really work - brought back two of my neighbors dead snowmobile batts that a normal charge would not charge. I have it mounted on bike and use the light function - it really work - green no issue , yellow yea it will start but lugging and not good for strait - red - don't try it - also low volts on a Triumph are very hard on starter and sprag gear.
