Swing-N-Slide Ring and Trapeze Combo swing Black

I have modified a zipline trolley to carry this ring and trap combo. The kids are never far off the ground so I would rather give them multiple ways to grab onto something and make the zipline more fun, for a longer period of time. Plus, holding on to these things means the rider doesn't turn around and land backwards. Not really a safety matter, just more pleasant to ride facing forward. And, so far, it's enjoyable and a quality product. The chains are metal, the crossbar is metal, but the rings are plastic. To see how strong they were I hung on them in the basement during assembly. They supported my weight (200 lbs) but I didn't test it for long. No need to press my luck.

Purchased this as an addition to my daughters swing set. Upon arriving, I could tell just by the look and feel (weight) that this was a good quality item. Installed easily in only a few minutes with basic tools, it's a big hit with the kids. Smooth handles and trap bar are easy on little hands, but durable enough to support dad's weight with no problem. I've had nothing but success (so far) with swing and slide products. Overall, a great purchase.

This is a great deal. It is made of good quality and its easy to install. It comes with large hooks that are easy to use. I recommend using a wrench or pliers to tighten them down though once you install them so kids cant take them off.Tip: Don't put the bar like it is shown in the picture. Instead, put it on the other end of the chains. This way, if your kids want to use the bar, you can just unhook the chains and flip it over. It makes it easier so you dont have to unscrew the hooks.

I have an A-frame in my back yard, which includes a bench swing. There were two available hooks, but also a large tree a few feet in front of that spot, so I decided to go with the ring and trap combo rather any alternatives for my 5-year-old son. Granted, I could have moved the bench swing over and placed a regular swing at the other end, but I thought he might enjoy holding onto the rings and kicking off of the tree, and I was right. The set includes two metal chains covered with plastic so as to prevent corrosion, the trapeze bar, which my son completely ignores so far, two sturdy, plastic rings, and four carabiner-looking oval hooks to connect the rings and trapeze bar to the chains. You could, of course, omit the rings or the bar if you so wish. The hooks can be tightened by hand and it probably would be fine, but I used a wrench to tighten them more. I like how you can set the trapeze bar higher up but still have it there to keep the two chains connected. However, I don't really like how the trapeze bar connects with these hooks. Because the hooks are so large, the bar hangs down 3 chain links below where the hooks are connected to the chains. I would have preferred something that kept the trapeze bar tighter to the chains so it didn't move and wobble around so much.

The ring and trapeze are as they appear and they are hanging sturdily from my orange tree, but there is a rusty goo that is always leaking out of the joints and I don't trust it as safe so I don't let my toddler use it much and when she does I make her wash her hands right away.

My 4 yr old loves it! He can stand on it, sit on it. hang from it, use the handles, it makes him think of new tricks. Then we go on u tube and watch some trapeze tricks for him to try new things. Now he wants to take gymnastics. My 2 year old likes it too. Both of their friends adore it! I put mine on a tree using some rope. Very easy. It look different than the picture- but that doesnt matter. It is a great product.

I bought this item for my sons to replace a child swing they outgrew. I was very happy with my purchase. This swing was easy to add to our swing set. The assembly and setting up only took a few minutes and basic tools. The rings and bar are very study and will hold my child weather they are hanging from the rings or swinging from the bar. The ring and bar are smooth and comfortable to hold and hang from. This is a big hit with my children, they play with this more then the standard swing. They love coming up with different ways to use the swing. It also helps improve my son's core strength.I would recommend this product to others.

Very nice sturdy trapeze swing for our outside playset. We have an older playset and the accessories needed to be updated. I have a 6 year old that loves to hang upside and use the rings so i knew i needed a new one. This one has been great. The bar is nice and sturdy and the rings are great as well. The chain has a nice coating on them so im not worried about my kids pinching their hands on metal or hurting themselves. I would highly recommend this!
