Will this fit a 700x38c tire

I am not sure. I am using these tires on a 35 mm tire

The box states this tube fits 26x1.4 - 26x1.75 size tires. I would say your tire is within that range.

Is this tube for a Skinny tire?

Cesar: If you click the box image and look at the side of the box, you will see all the tire sizes that are compatible with this tube size. I use it for a 26X1.5 slick tire on my Mt Bike for casual road riding. I would consider skinny tires being like 700X23, 700X25 or 700X28 which are road race tires where the tubes are thinner. Hope this helps.

Value stems separating from the tube

Screw the nut down to about 2mm before the rim. It should be completely loose. If you snug it to the rim it will start pulling the tube through the rim hole, cutting the tube wall. It’s only there so when you push the pump air chuck on it won’t push the stem into the wheel.
