It clarify’s my scalp, you don’t need a bigger size this is enough cause you only put it on your scalp and this is enough

My stylist recommended using a clarifying shampoo followed by a leave in conditioner regimen about once a month to remove all the product build up. I definitely felt the difference when I used this shampoo, and it restored my hair and my curl's bounce which was being weighed down by build up. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I definitely noticed the difference when I used it.

A great clarifying shampoo. A little goes a long way

Curly hair is super dry. Regular shampooing is just going to dry it out more. On a daily basis, I use a co-wash to keep my hair moisturized but at some point, you have to get the excess product out of your hair. Ouidad has been a leader in the curly hair product world and this clarifying shampoo is excellent. I buy a small bottle that lasts a long time since I use this type of shampoo only 3x per year. It doesn't dry out my curls but it does clean out the product that eventually builds up on your hair. I strongly recommend this to my curly hair buddies out there.

I use this on my elderly mother's hair. Our house has non-softened well water. Literally everything in my house is a victim to hard water build-up - shower walls, faucets, laundry, washing machine, dishes, dishwasher, coffeemaker, etc... so its makes sense that our hair would also be impacted. My mom has a combination of silver, platinum, and white hair. The platinum and silver turn yellow from our hard water. I've tried everything on her hair and nothing works, including Malibu C. I was skeptical of this, so I bought the small travel size before committing to a full size bottle. Anyway, long winded preamble to say this worked with one shampooing. The yellow is gone. However, because this shampoo really strips the hair, we use it only once every 2 weeks and we deep condition afterward. The yellow is gone and there have been no signs of breakage or split ends. We're very pleased with this shampoo and would highly recommend it.

It works so well - I typically use it once a month with thick, curly hair. I lather it in on my scalp for 30-45 seconds, rinse and add conditioner to the ends. I do apply a leave in conditioner afterwards to help hydrate the scalp again but there's no leftover product afterwards!
