It didn't work well, like in the direct sunlight it wouldn't function plus other remote problems. I wouldn't recommend it.

My husband removed our old dead bolt and installed this one easily. I love the look, and it appears to be very well made. Now my house is locked all the time without having to fumble for my keys, and when I arrive home, the kids (who always run ahead) can unlock the door for me. The buttons are easy to press and make a small beep to tell confirm the key has been pressed so you only have to enter the code once to unlock the door, big upgrade from my garage keypad. I didn't give it a 5 because sometimes the buttons stick a little under the faceplate. This doesn't effect the performance, just my impression of the product.

I bought this lock for its convenience and looks.. as a bonus as a little security to my house. and I love the fact that it comes with a remote controll..

I've had this unit for 4 months now. It's durable, its reliable, it looks great on our door. I've had no major problems with it. The manual key built into the remote is a nice feature too. I've not ever had to use it, but its nice to know it's there if needed. The only thing I'd change is that the remote must be within 4 or 5 feet of the door to work properly - a little longer range would make it much more functional. Other than that, it's a really great keyless entry.

Privex KP200 electronic lock. the unit comes with one page poor instructions. at first it seems to be defective, and the mechanized lock clicked, and seems not to work well. Once I found the correct position of the bolt and the tailpiece, it start working.Install it on the door was easy, it will fit to any hole (Boldwin, Kwickset, or Schlage), the key hole is thin, can not be rekeyed for Boldwin or Schlage.It comes with 4 digit programming key, and 2x 4 digit code entry keys, you can change those up to 10 digits keys, up to 6 user codes.On the box it states 1digits, on the manual up to 10!pressing the unlock key when the lock is open will push the latch to lock the door.The keys have back light, and sometimes they click more than once, entering the wrong code. after few wrong key entries, the unit will stop for ~ 2 min. and would not accept any code.Testing other products by Kwickset, and Schlage, some need Z-Wave which require monthly fees and additional hardware, some are limited to 4 digit codes, and some require to enlarge the hole in the door.Pro: does not require to cut bigger hole in the door, has 10 digits codes, has a remote,Con: not great keypad, beeps sometimes, as operation did not succeed when push the button to lock the door (and the door was locked).Warranty ??? no information provided..For those reasons I gave only 4 stars

Very good options, with high quality at an affordable price. I would recommend this product to others looking for a key pad option

used on my main door, has a good look to it, battery life is pretty good. the key is awesome. I love the look on buddies faces when I push a button on my keys and my door unlocks.
