After changing the transmission filter, I cleaned the mating surface, added gasket and screwed the pan into the transmission. I added this blue thread locker to each bolt for a total of 18 bolts and tightened up in zig zag pattern. The bottle was enough for all 18 bolts and had some leftover. I believe with this size, it should be enough for two vehicles. It is not only cheaper than Loctile but also provides same strength. It is versatile for other applications as well. It is easy to use and provide great consistency. Until now, the pan has no problems: no oil leaking, no signs of loosening.
