KNIPEX86 05 180 Pliers Wrenches 7,09" with soft handle

I have other adjustable wrenches in my workshop, but nothing like this. I searched out for this after seeing how useful it was in the hands of a British antique machinery restorer whose YouTubes I like to watch. The big box stores in my city had nothing like this, but I ordered it from Amazon even though it was expensive and it took about a week to arrive from Europe.How do describe this? As a fine woodworker, I compare this to the quality you feel when you are used to standard American big box store tools and then you buy your first Festool tool. It is a thing of simple beauty and functionality. You don't round off corners of bolts because it fits bolts and nuts like a bundle of various sized wrenches, as opposed to the sloppy experience of using the adjustable end wrench or the slip joint pliers you bought from the neighborhood store.An unexpected outcome of this purchase is that I have given away two other slip joint pliers that migrated to the back end of the tool drawer because I always go to this device.

I bought these off of my wife's account; BUT YOU CANNOT find better pliers.My dad first got these about two years ago ,and I just now got myself a pair. They may look deceiving but trust me they are not. These will be your NEW favorite Plier to use.To give you an example, You can try this (if you can find someone local who sells these) take them, grab a regular Pliers (any kind), and grab a screw, penny, wood shim, etc; hold these with TWO FINGERS and while a friend is holding the regular pliers with BOTH HANDS Tug and see who wins. YOU will win with LITTLE effort. Trust me my dad did that with me when he bought his. I couldn't even move that penny from it's grasp.Leverage on these works 1000X better than a regular pair of pliers. Also if you have ever had the teeth on a regular plier damage whatever you are working on or rounding off a nut or something THESE WILL NOT DO THAT (they are smooth; no teeth; and TRUST ME they DO NOT NEED TEETH to grip).They are expensive yes; BUT THEY ARE WORTH EVERY DIME. Just like I said earlier my dad is a master diesel mechanic and these are his GO TO pliers before grabbing anything else. They are comfortable and you do not EVER need to grip these with a hand cramping grip to hold onto anything. Like I said TWO FINGERS will do it just fine. I tend to need different tools that are not always available; turning off a valve on a toilet that is about to run over, tightening different size bolts, etc. Not a huge toolbox lady who constantly uses tools, but this wrench is a great size and is good for multiple functions. Very easy to use; just push a button to adjust to the size you need!Guys might like it as well, but if you have a lot of tools more precise for each application you might not be as impressed. For someone who is limited on space and doesn't use tools regularly, this is perfect for my use!
