6.5" Car Stereo RCD360 PROII RCD330 Carplay Android Auto Bluetooth USB SD RVC FM for VW Golf MK5 MK6 Passat Jetta CC EOS (Backup Camera Actived)

Purchased RCD360 Pro II to add android Auto connectivity to 2015 VW Passat. I did a lot of research before purchasing so installation went fairly straightforward; the only time consuming part was running a wire from a reverse light to RGB converter box. The cable harness included with the unit is plug-in, the included antenna adapter is not very good so I purchased a Dual Fakra Car Radio Antenna Adapter instead (ASIN B07QH762D4); YX2216 or similar RGB to AV camera adaptor is required for factory backup camera to work (ASIN B0C9D1VVCL), I tapped the power for it from a cigarette lighter wiring harness. Very pleased with the final result, steering wheel controls work, Bluetooth and wired Android Auto works as expected, sound is good and installed unit looks like it came from factory. Be aware that if you unplug airbag light connector on the dashboard trim the airbag warning light will come on and you will need a VAG-COM or go to dealer to reset it.

Easy to install. Plug and play. Works great in my VW Passat.

RCD360 pro2. Bought it for my 2017 Jetta 1.4T S even though it said it wouldn’t fit and showed the year figment stopping at 2015. It did say it would for a mk6 so the 17 Jetta being a mk6 I gambled and it paid off. Perfect fit. Instructions were unclear but my factory harness plugged straight into it and reverse camera and steering wheel controls work. Have only used it a week and have not had any issues yet. Would give it a 5/5 if instructions were clear and if they corrected the figment on the years it would work on. Only down side is it takes a standard usb in the radio and usbc for my newer iPhone so had to make a special run to the store just for the cord to be able to use CarPlay.

Amazing. I had a hard time dropping the money works great with my 2012 cjaa 2.0 TDI with fender premium audio it’s great. It’s snappy fast to the touch many many options to change what you don’t like, everything on the wheel works. When you do it tho make sure you disconnect the battery otherwise you are gonna have to do it when it’s all connected for the factory amp to read the new radio.

I installed an Android OS head unit in my VW Tiguan a long time ago, and it was fine. I thought it was great to start, but it just kept getting slower and slower over time as it is basically a tablet mounted in your car. Fast forward around 5 years, and I decided that I needed to replace it as it was just frustrating. This unit works great with iPhone - the only phone I have used it with. All of the CarPlay apps seem to work wonderfully with it, and I love that I don't have to have a dash mount for my phone any longer. It only works through USB to my knowledge, so if you are looking for Bluetooth CarPlay, this may not be for you. One tip I have is to set your default unplugged operation to 'Media' so that you don't get blasted out of your car when you unplug your iPhone. There is a considerable gain difference in the radio versus the CarPlay apps, and if you don't want to have early-onset hearing loss, setting the unit to 'Media' can help. Option 2 is to turn off the radio every time you unplug the phone - this also works.

Only troubleshooting I had to do was disconnecting car battery for a few minutes for the unit to detect speakers. After reconnecting the car battery everything works great. 2012 VW Passat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a replacement radio with backup up camera that looks like the original radio in my VW Beetle. I had it professionally installed and from the start, the camera didn't work. The company I chose to install the system is the highest rated auto stereo installer in the area. Trying to communicate with the seller has been very difficult. I have emailed asking for a phone number for direct tech support but only get responses by email which takes days. The installer is miles away and has been supportive by trying the gadgets and that the seller has sent, but is getting irritated that the unit still doesn't work properly. I have over $400 in installation charges and still no working backup camera. The time limit for returning the radio has passed on Amazon. I need help from Amazon on returning the unit and getting a refund.

So I do have a 2010 Volkswagen GTI with Dynaudio, and I can verify that this radio will work with the amp. There is no static when the radio is off. You can adjust the amp in the settings and the sound is great. The only thing is you need a high-quality USB cable to plug your phone in to get CarPlay to accept. I had a couple cheap cords and they would not work so I thought CarPlay wouldn’t work but once I plugged in a official Apple high-quality cable, the radio recognized it and activated CarPlay. So far so good quality is great. I would recommend it.

This was my third attempt in installing an aftermarket touchscreen for my Volkswagen Jetta. The other two units I tried (different brands) did not work at all. This one worked straight out of the box. I am very happy with it.
