LOVE this pan!!!
I absolutely LOVE this pan! This pan is perfect for making quick breads. I make the batter for two loaves and it fits perfectly in this tube pan. Many people don't like the heel of the quick bread loaf, and with this pan being a tube, there are no heels/ends - every piece is a perfect "middle" piece. I also use this pan for dense cakes, like pound cake and carrot cake. I really like the fact this is pan is light sliver. Cakes and breads bake evenly with a nice golden crust. Many of the dark non-stick pans make the crust too dark and over bake the crust before the cake/bread is completely cooked thru. This is not a problem in this pan. This is so much better than a traditional Bundt pan, no ridges for sticking. To make sure what I'm baking comes out, I line the pan with parchment strips and spray with Pam. I've tried Pam for baking and the grease/flour method, but some breads with blueberries, apples or carrots will still stick. I've had this pan for about 5 years and use it once a week. It has held up extremely well. It's sturdy, but not heavy. It has held its shape, no warping. I There are a few discolored spots on the rim, but otherwise it's in great shape. I hand wash, it cleans up very easily. This pan is aluminum, DO NOT wash in the dishwasher.
