Great support for de quervains
Thanks all for the great review - it is indeed very good support for my de quervains! I hope it’ll help me in the long term as I’ve only been wearing it for awhile and I feel the relief already!

Great Relief!
I have De Quervain's Tenosynovitis from playing piano and violin for over 35 years. WIth the addition of texting and computer work, my hands suffer pain from overuse. These gloves are a blessing! The day they came in, it took a minute to find the correct positioning. Once they were set right, it was instant relief! I have small hands and wrists and was concerned they may not fit, but I can wear these without issue. They also have good quality velcro. I like they leave the fingers and palm open and the wrist strap provides added support. There are non-removable metal supports so just be aware. I like them because they immobilize the tendon that hurts most. I highly recommend these since they worked for me!

Takes the pain away!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this brace. I have thumb tendonitis and I'm waiting to get in for a cortisone shot. I needed something the immobilize the joint at night because the pain was keeping me up. At first I thought this was going to be too bulky and uncomfortable, but after a bit of adjustment it is rather comfy. The pain immediately improved and I am now wearing it as much as I can. I'm a nurse and sometimes detail work makes me have to take it off, but for the most part my gloves will stretch over the top of it.The two internal metal 'struts' have to be positioned with your wrist bone in the middle to avoid pressure on the bone, but once you play around with the fit adjustment, it's quite comfortable. Pleasantly surprised.

Neither brace held up
For the most part I am very happy with this brace. Good support for my thumb and doesn’t restrict any movement. The only suggestions I would say is to make the brace slightly higher in the palm and in the back of the hand. I like it so much, im going to purchase another oneAfter further review, I purchased a second one and they both started coming apart with minimal use. Good brace but they need to be made with better quality.Buy another brand these do not hold up

Stabilized my hypermobile thumbs! I can finally go back to piano!
I have a condition called ehlers-danlos, which makes my joints bendy and unstable. I was looking for a brace that would help restrict me from overextending my thumbs, but not completely immobilize as my main motivation was to fix an instability issue I have while playing piano. This works so much better than I expected. It took a few days to break them in enough to move my hands well on the keys, but three days later and I can now get back to practicing!I will say that the process of wearing them in caused a bit of muscle soreness. I had to move against the resistance of the brace, but then again I think these are great for if you want less movement. I personally just need support. They work well, they feel comfortable enough for daily wear, and they haven’t started wearing too much even with the movement that I’ve done in them to force them looser. overall I’d say that this is definitely worth the price for Ehlers-danlos. My thumbs can no longer bend too far forwards or backwards. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
