the siel is not tight
It leaks water if shaken when you put hot water inside and close the lid, not practical if you are on the move.

Could be a tiny bit larger
I bought this to replace a camping pot that I was using at work to heat up the odd lunch on the lunch room stove, as I wanted to use the microwave instead for ease of use. The Sistema Microwave Cookware Noodle Bowl lived up to it's name and performed almost flawlessly. It's a good quality and thickness of plastic, so I hope to see a good bit of use out of it before it gives up and pieces start to break off of it. I was surprised to see that it can go from the microwave into the freezer, not that I think I will be freezing anything inside of it. The clips are very positive, and hold the lid on tightly, although it leaks at the seam when I tipped it over to see how water tight it is. I certainly won't work about water egress while boiling noodles with it in the microwave. The vent in the lid has a positive detent and is easy to use. It is just about the perfect depth to hold 500ml of water and a package of ramen noodles, and my first test with it, I ended up nuking the water and package contents for about 3.5 minutes in my 1000 Watt microwave. There were no problems, no spillage, no clogging of the vent. As you can see from the lid, there was condensate from when the steam turned back into a liquid. I was able to take the just boiled noodles straight out of the microwave with one hand using the handle, which was not hot at all and simply waited until the noodles were cool enough to eat. What I don't like is the manufacturer could have put in a couple of rings or markings at the 250ml and 500ml level. Most ramen calls for between 350ml and 500ml, so it woul have been nice to have a mark to judge how mach water to add. I'll solve that by using a file or my dremel tool to nick or notch the side at the 500ml mark, then eyeball it from there. The second pet peeve is that the diameter of the bowl is ever so slightly small, and I had to crush the corners of the package of noodles to get them to fit into the bowl. It's a minor annoyance, but there it is. (For the record they are not Mr. Noodles, but a popular Taiwanese brand). I want to take aawy a star because of the diameter, but it performs so well, I didn't have the heart to do it. I've used it twice to boil up some noodles, once at home and once at work. I like it enough to consider buying one as a gift for a family member who eats more ramen then I do. :)

Excellent Microwave Bowl – Versatile & Convenient
This has become my new favorite bowl for soups and quick meals! It’s roomier than my old soup cup and heats food much more evenly. I love that it’s not only microwave safe, but also freezer safe and dishwasher safe, which makes it really convenient for everyday use. The lid locks on securely and stayed in place well while heating—no warping, strange odors, or leaking issues during use. The steam vent on top is also easy to open and close. The bowl comfortably holds my 21 oz soup with room to spare, which is great when I want to add crackers or extra ingredients without worrying about spills. The handle stays nice and cool when removing the hot cup from the microwave. The instructions do mention avoiding heating foods with ingredients like tomato sauce, curry, beetroot, or very high-fat content to help prevent staining or damage, and it’s also not intended for popcorn use. Instructions come in multiple languages. Overall, this is a very practical, well-made, and versatile microwave bowl at a great price, and I definitely recommend it!

Well worth the money
Definitely worth spending that little bit extra for this container. I use mine daily for salads, pasta and the like, and never had any issue. All of my colleagues at work want to know where I got it so they can buy their own. I bought two, one for myself and another for my sister, and both of us have said that we wouldn't consider using any other brand again, apart from these. Such good quality. The only downside is that they aren't great for liquids because they can leak a bit, but unless you are using it for soup this isn't an issue
