Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition

The internal looks new but the cover looked damaged. Also it came without plastic cover. I needed it to complete my collection.

This year I bought again GWR GE and all i have to say is, gorgeous :) Not only it is nice book and looks perfect in a bookshelf, but it has a lot of interesting info and facts and records to discus with friends and gamers. Believe me, there are things that u can't even imagine :D Love it.

Für die Spieler unter euch, die auch gerne mal wissen wollen, welche Rekorde gibt es denn aus dem Bereich der Videospiel und alles was damit zutun hat. Mal was anderes als Speedruns, die natürlich auch interessant sind oder das höchste Budget für die Entwicklung. Einfach mal ausprobieren.

My oldest nephew is a huge gaming nut but also loves any facts he can find about games. He's constantly telling me what year games were introduced, characters who are in multiple games and a wide variety of other facts. I've given him lots of gifts over the years and they've all been met with a ho hum attitude but this one was a home run! He actually sat down and started reading right away. I couldn't help myself, I even sat down and read through some of the facts and was heard to say "Did you know..." a few times. Each 'record' is in large type and has interesting pictures that correlate to the game being discussed which I thought was very cool. It's perfect for young gamers who you want to get off the game system for a bit, maybe even encourage reading a bit more. I'm wishing now that I'd bought a copy for my son as well.
