CT CAPETRONIX Rechargeable Camping Light (Orange)

I've taken a photo holding one of the lights in my hand to show the size of it. I bought these lights to use in the house because we have already had two power cuts in the last three months. The lights charge quite quickly with the enclosed USB cables in about an hour and a half. I have now also checked how long the charge lasts. I had both light on full light and they lasted for at least 16 hours although the brightness started diminishing after 5 or 6 hours. It's great that they have a red light while charging which turns green when fully charged so you know when you can unplug the USB. A handy little carrying wire at the top, and four different light modes: very bright light, bright light, flashing light and light for SOS. My only minor complaint is the little rubber cover over the USB port which is very thin and can easily come out, but otherwise, I'm still happy to give it 5 stars. Great value for money and nice design!

These lights are really good and bright, ideal for camping and perfect for hanging inside the tent. easy for kids to use as well, will withstand a bit of roughhousing

These arrived on time the day after I orderred them. I made sure to check they were both fully charged before using them.I went to use the first light but found that there was no way I could reduce the brightness in any noticable way. It was full on, flashing or nothing. Anyway I used it the first night for 4 hours without any dimming in the light. I continued to use it the following evening and it was pretty much as full brightness for approx 9 hours in total. I then left it to run down which took it down very slowly over another period of 6 hours by which time it would only have been suitable to use as a very dim torch. I charged it up fully which took approx 2 hours. I really like the fact that it shows a red light whilst charging but changes to green when it is fully charged again. I am disappointed that there is no ability to dim the light in any meaningfull way at all.

We go camping a lot so have bought various lights over the years. There are USB chargeable which we prefer to battery. The light they give is good - one lights up our large main tent interior well enough to comfortably see. And hanging outside means you can spot your tent in the dark without lighting up the tent next door. Pleased with the main function. The port to charge it is covered by a really thin film of silicone type plastic that you have to ‘rub’ to one side to get the charger cable in. It is held in place at one side by just a little stalk of the silicone which does into a hole in the light. So it just pings out nearly every time you try to charge it. Trying to find it in the dark in grass is not a fun game. Without this bit, the light is no longer waterproof as annoyingly the charger is at the top of the light. Ok I suppose if you only use it indoors, but this design fault really lets down what is otherwise a good light at a decent price point. Get this right and it would be 5 stars.

These are pretty good. They are about as bright as you could reasonably hope for - they will light a room, perhaps not as well as some brighter ceiling lights, but well enough to get by with. The built-in shade ensures there's no glare and they are easy for all the family to operate. Against that, they weigh less than I would like and don't have that premium feel, so you have to wonder about the battery life, (although - so far - I've no complaints). They are narrower than I'd like and, as a result, the fold-down handle is surprisingly small and only really any use as a hook to hang off something. They are, however, rechargeable, the right price, and will do what you bought them for. If there are power cuts this winter, you'll be glad you bought them and glad you didn't spend any more.

The vendor pictures seem to exaggerate the size a bit so check the measurements but, honestly, one lamp in a dark room is plenty of light and it's not harsh. The different lighting modes are changed in a cycle by turning on and off which is a bit cumbersome but it works. Not entirely sure there's a difference between low and high constant light and I've no idea why there are slow and fast flashing modes but hey ho. Can't comment on battery life but one came with a flat battery and it was fully charged in about an hour. Not sure I'd rely on them as a battery pack for a phone but there are much better options for that and I suppose they'd be good in an emergency. USB C which is essential nowadays. I'd say they're a little bit expensive even as a twin pack but they'll be great in the event of a power cut.

Let's get to the bad first: it is small. But that's not their fault, it was mine. I did not check the dimension. But... Here's the good: 1. Bright - lights a certain area really bright, but don't expect to light up your whole camp site. 2. Small - yes! The bad is also a good. You can pack this easily and carry it anywhere with mo problem. Why? 3. Lightweight - unlike others, they are a bit heavier but these are very light to carry. 4. Rechargeable - which is the reason why it is lightweight. No need to add battery, making it lightwieght. 5. Charger - and yes, it can give you a bit of a charge when you forget your charger or portable battery pack. I will be using this for my car'l, nothing else. I got my tire inflator, protable 12V battery charger, my tools and now this light completes my car's emergency kit. You know for those long drive with the family. Always good to have a complete emergency kit. Buy it, it won't disappoint.

Lantern is nice and small, 4.5" by 2" approximately. It is lightweight and has a handle to hold and hang it up with. The top of the lantern has a USB port for charging the lantern and a nice convenient port to charge your cell phone as well. It has four settings a bright, a medium bright, a fast blinking strobe and a slow blinking strobe all lights are white. It is compact and will fit in small areas like car glove box, emergency supplies, back packing gear, or in my case a go bag. I live in California where unfortunately in the last 4 years there's been a lot of fires and you must be ready to go in a moment; it fits in my bag and doesn't take too much space. Very reasonable price for two. Cannot go wrong with this lantern set.

Der Akku der Lampen ist schlecht. Nach 1 Jahr gebraucht, d.h. weniger als 1x monatlich ist die Akkuleistung praktisch null. Die Lampe gibt kaum mehr Licht ab.
