Diablo 12" Cuts oak like butter
Great general purpose blade that cuts a little finer. Its been holding up well but Im careful with it too. Slow precision feeding without letting it get overheated. Highly recomend

Wow! I upgraded my blade on my miter saw in preparation of building some simple furniture. With my old blade I could feel (more resistance) and hear (saw became much louder, of course) when the blade made contact with the wood during a cut; I could hear my saw working harder. On my first cut with this Diablo blade, I was halfway through the piece of pine and hadn't heard any change or felt an increase in resistance; I assumed that I hadn't started cutting the board yet, so I bent down to change my perspective and was shocked to see that I was almost done with the cut! Talk about an improvement in cutting performance. My workshop/garage is in a residential area, and I often work at night (with the garage door closed of course), and I was pleased with how much quieter my saw runs now.I mostly use my miter for cross cuts, but some finish work, and thought the 60 teeth would be the way to go for me (as opposed to the 80 teeth blade or higher). I cut a bunch of nice pine boards on my saw last night and was perfectly pleased with the results.

If Not For a Miter Saw
I use a lot of saw blades... my favorite saw is an old Radial Arm saw because you can do almost anything with it. Both my saws are made for 10" blades. One of my Radials is rigged for a 12" blade because I now mainly cut cedars and redwood, and a lot of it is 4" thick stock. All these cheaper blades are made in China... and their specs vary. My saws use a 5/8" arbor and all 12" blades come with 1" hole, so I use 5/8" to 1" bushings... like the Winbyoan Saw Blade Bushings sold on Amazon. In this 12" blade purchase we bought two 1" arbor blades... but for a tight fit they required bushings from two different suppliers. One was too loose and it made the blade vibrate beyond an acceptable tolerance... DO NOT USE A LOOSE FITTING BUSHING! IT IS DANGEROUS.Also, I highly recommend using a pair of 4" Diameter x 5/8" Bore Blade Stabilizers... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DCNLPS6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3R52SWB1QZK01&psc=1This Diablo D1260X Combination Saw Blade works fine with the proper fitting 5/8 to 1" bushung and 4" Blade Stabilizers. It is actually too fine a cut for my use and better fitted to a chop saw.If you are using it on a table or Radial Arm saw, I would suggest a 48 tooth blade as it will blow away the sawdust better... like this other blade I bought on the same order... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SS5SJGQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It is a WEN blade and required a different 5/8 to 1" bushing. Again, go with your 4" Blade Stabilizers. My last 12" blade (40 teeth) lasted over eight years... hope these do too.

Man this thing cuts!
I replaced my 80-tooth blade with this combo style and have NOT been disappointed. It's so sharp and quick, yet still leaves a smooth surface. I've still got a high-end miter blade for any super detailed work I may run into, but for every day crosscut projects, this is a just-right solution for my needs. And all things considered, the price ain't bad either.

When is Wood like Butter?
When you cut with this blade! I installed this blade on my 12" Ryobi miter saw. I appreciate the lazer kerf and the narrow thickness of the blade. Some reviewers say the blade is to thin, I like the fact that I lose less wood to the cut and the teeth are thick enough to make a clean cut without binding the rest of the blade. The cut is clean thru from start to finish without a lot of rough edges to clean up. The only issue is that this is a more expensive blade than others of the same type, and only time will tell if it has value for the cost. Build quality is excellent, performance is excellent, value is fair, and I would recommend this as a good buy. Of course, I'm not a professional woodcrafter, so please take this review as one from someone who just needs to make cuts!
