Vitamix 36019 The Quiet One On-Counter Bar Type 48 Oz Blender, black/clear

Yeah it’s expensive but this puppy gets the job done and doesn’t wake the neighbors. I couldn’t be happier with the quality. If you’re looking for a cheap blender, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a reliable tool that can take years of constant use, this is the one. Basically the Festool of the blender world. Haha

I debated whether to purchase this blender for a year. It was a little expensive for my taste. But one day I decided to just buy it. And boy am I glad I did. It is super easy to operate, it is commercial grade so the power is unmatched, the enclosure muffles the loud noise. I am so impressed with this blender and so pleased that I purchased it. I use the preset options #1 for milkshakes and #2 for smoothies. It has so many capabilities. I have only had it for 2 weeks now, but have used it almost every day. I would HIGHLY recommend!!

Very quiet and powerful. But, bad lid design. When blending, it leaks a little from the tamper hole at the top, which isn’t terrible, but it leaks a lot LOT from the spout. It’s a little annoying for a thousand dollar item. Update: I'm getting fed up with the bad design of the jar and lid on this blender. Vitamix should redesign it and recall the bad jar. I've tried getting some ultra thin silicone sheets and cutting them to fit between the lid and the jar spout, and it helps, but it's too tricky to line up correctly. Anyone want a used Vitamix cheap?

I honestly only bought it for making frozen drinks. It has not failed me one bit. Every batch is smooth after only 30 seconds. I do plan to pass it down to one of my daughters. May have buy another to keep the peace.

I own a Vitamix 5200 and wanted to try out the Vitamix The Quiet One because I have hearing problems from military service already and high frequency noise from blenders is a problem for hearing loss. I purchased the quiet one on March 17, 2024, and it arrived on March 20, 2024. Upon following instructions for assembling the unit and trying it for the first time I noticed the unit has high frequency oscillation and vibrates while in use. The copy I received is most definitely NOT quiet. I took it apart and reassembled it to see if it was a user error on my part. Vibrations and high frequency oscillations and noise persisted. In addition, the unit I received shut off unexpectedly and will not allow itself to run at full power. I am returning it now to KaTom Restaurant Supply and I will be going to look at a Quiet One in person at a local retailer to assess whether I received a bum unit.

Much better then the blender I was using, I'll most likely be ordering 2 more for my start up smoothie business.
