Pottery Barn Home

Loved it! I’ve had it for several months and I never really looked at the book and I live alone so yesterday I started to leaf through from the beginning of the first page, and I noticed the crease of the book was torn. Literally torn. The book is in great condition because I rarely looked at it. How is it so a company can send you a book in this condition. This is the third book I purchased from Amazon two was for Martha Stewart., one was like a crayon coloured on Martha’s face, but My Friend managed to slowly take it off with your eraser. We couldn’t get all of it off because it was a gift to my son. I am not pleased with this with this book itself. The last book it was expensive. It wasn’t cheap.

This whole series is amazing. I came across them quite by chance and have them all. I love them. They give clear practical advice on how to make a lovely warm and welcoming home with out the clutter. I am hooked! I noticed John lewis have now started to stock them, need I say more?

I live in Norway, so we don't have any Pottery Barn stores here. Nevertheless I find their books very interesting and delightful- and similar furniture is to be found over here. I have purchased the Living Room book and Storage and Display before - liked them very much. I don't agree that the photos are similar - only a few and some photos are not used at all in the other books I have read. But I do agree that completely new pictures could have been used all over. No need to repeat. Full of good ideas an inspirations. This is a book I can linger over several evenings when the kids are tucked in.

I'd seen this book in a store in Germany and knew it was just the right source of ideas for rearranging furniture. I still look at it occasionally. Very nice book.
