Does the handle get slippery when working with fish (slime)?

I predominately use mine as a boning knife on game(deer, elk, rabbit, birds........). My experience with fish "slime" is everything it touches gets slimy, too. The grip is probably as good as any and better than most in slick situations. For the price, I am very impressed with the overall performance! I bought it to throw in the tackle box, or carry in the tool box of the truck as a general, long bladed utility multiuse knife that I wouldn't cry if it got nicked or dinged......it has graduated to it's own slot in the wooden block in my kitchen along with other knives costing 10 and 15 times as much money. It holds an edge well and the handle lays in my hand like it was custom made. blood, fat, gristle, and/or water do not effect the grip for boning with this little dandy! It has become my "go to" boning knife. I bought several for buddies as Christmas gifts.

How long is the blade? I want a 7 and 1/2 inch blade. Thanks.

Package says China. Nothing written anywhere. Sharpener made in China. (My 7 1/2" wooden handle one is made in Estonia. Both beautiful knives. Both just purchased. Like how Rapala (Victorinox) diversifies outsourcing...and not just China. I too would send it back if so.

The Blade is about 6 inch and total is about 10 inch,,,,I love this knife for general kitchen use. Sharpe as a razor!!!
