Reliable and easy to use product. Great build quality and oh so easy to configure, just plug it in and it works. Love plug and play feature and the fact that all ports work no matter which line (in or out) is connected.

This is the first time I've used an unmanaged switch, always thinking a full blown router was necessary to add additional ethernet ports.I read the reviews and thought I would try it out. I plugged it in last night and bang it just works. No setups, no configuration no IP addresses Just plug it in and it works. This is my kind of tech. LOL

This unit works right out of the box. Easy to set up. Just plug it in and use it. Lights near each jack indicates a live connection. Comes with stick-on feet that make it very stable sitting on a desktop.

Get's the job done. Needed a splitter to network my four computers in my loft area. Had I not been so hasty to purchase I probably would have gotten the comparable model TP-Link for half the price, but Linksys products have always been good to me, and I'm sure it will be in use for years to come.Setup was obviously quite easy: plug in the power adaptor and plug in ethernet cables. It doesn't get much simpler than that. Tested and is running at full gigabit speeds and it is nice to have all my machines in the room hard-lined and networked to each other for fast file transfers.Would I buy again? probably not, I'd get the TP-Link for $15 since just looking for a simple 5-port switch, but I don't regret the purchase and won't be returning for the $15 I could save... next time though, will opt for the cheaper option unless it's part of my critical network infrastructure.

Bought this to replace an old 10/100 Linksys switch since I got Starlink and now am getting over 200mb download speed at times. This new switch is a 10/100/1000. Interestingly, it has a steel case instead of the usual plastic.

I was delayed in installing (took longer than I expected to run / terminate the cable). Once plugged in, it began working. All my electronics should integrate so well.

It has been very useful for distributing internet to my room since I have my PC, TV and also a console. It has a fairly strong LED light, I must say it is very visible at night, but it performs its function excellently.

El paquete llegó en muy buen estado, incluso antes de la fecha estimada. El switch ocupa poco espacio, fue fácil de instalar; sólo se conecta a corriente, el cable de red del Modem al switch siguiendo las recomendaciones o instrucciones del manual y por último conectas tus cables de red a tu consola o pc, etc. En mi caso conecte dos computadoras y no he tenido problema. En conclusión es un excelente producto.

Funciona muy bien, lo tengo conectado a un cable ethernet que viene de la sala al segundo piso de mi casa, y de ahí a mi estudio y un segundo router. La única queja que tengo de este producto, es que siempre que esté encendido, tendrá el LED azul prendido. En el día no es problema, pero en la noche ilumina muchísimo. Puede afectar el sueño de las personas si deja en una habitación.De ahí en fuera, está excelente. Prefiero esta marca sobre TP Link.

Perfect ! exactly what I needed to make my home CAT.7 wired networkI don't want WiFi and even less BlueTooth at home.Edit: I will leave it to 3 stars, for it worked fine for about 4 years, until 2 days ago when I moved it, I unplugged it here, and plugged it back there (on a UPS from APC) and pouf ! it doesn't work anymore (doesn't even switch on). I don't think 4 years is nearly enough for "just" a switch !
