I’ve been using this Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Clarify & Shine Shampoo with pink grapefruit for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. It leaves my scalp feeling fresh and clean without being too harsh or drying out my hair. The grapefruit scent is light and refreshing, not overpowering. I also love that it exfoliates gently—my hair feels noticeably lighter and less greasy after each wash.It was delivered on time (July 15) and left safely on my porch. No leaks or damage to the packaging. I’ll definitely be reordering this, maybe even through the subscription option to save a little extra.Highly recommend if you deal with buildup or want a gentle clarifying shampoo!

I have been taking better care of my scalp and hair since my last baby three years ago. I noticed my hormones made my head itchy and highly uncomfortable. I would scratch but it wouldn’t stop. I would check for lice and nothing was found. I tried so many shampoos from anti fungal to head and shoulders. The head and shoulders works most of the time but after awhile, it doesn’t do its job. That’s when I use this product. A clarifying, residue stripping, gentle cleanse that starts my head back at fresh again. It’s such a game changer for me. It smells amazing, works like a charm at removing months of build up and keeps my scalp from the dreaded itch. I only wish I knew about this sooner. The way I use it is once every month or two. I can tell when my hair starts becoming more oily, heavy and not its lightweight puffy mane. Whenever it begins to feel unreasonably itchy, I use this for my hair washing (sometimes twice in a shower!) and follow with my regular H&S conditioner. Then, I don’t have to wash my hair for at least 7-10 days. Which is a true testament to how well this formula works. It doesn’t dry my hair out at all. It is the most gentle formula I’ve ever tried and again, the citrus smell is my favorite. I firmly believe this has high value for money as one bottle lasts me half a year. I haven’t yet had any issues with the bottle leaking but I’m not exactly traveling with it either. If I must travel, I’ll either shower with it the day before or use a small travel bottle. So I cannot speak in the bottle leakage bit. Overall, I will be coming back for more. As for you, I honestly don’t know. But I had a great experience and it would be worth trying if you had any of the issues I did.

I have oily hair. It's very fine, so it soaks up oil on my scalp immediately.After I wash it, no matter what shampoo/conditioner/leave in products I do or don't use, I get the same results - it looks good for 1 day, then it looks okay for 1 day, then greasy for 1 day, then ridiculously, unacceptably greasy and dirty after that. I am so envious of people who say they wash their hair once or twice per week. I'm an every-other-day (mayyyybe every 3 days if I am staying at home) kind of a girl. I have to be, if I want to look at all presentable. Which is annoying and inconvenient, considering how lazy I am.This shampoo has not changed my life, and my hair continues to get greasy after only 2 days. However, it looks great, especially on the first day! The shampoo smells like the Neutrogena grapefruit face wash I used in my teens, so I'm constantly doing double-takes, thinking that I just slathered face wash on my scalp. But the scent is very nice after I stop panicking! And when I rinse it out, my hair instantly feels beyond clean. It's such a nice feeling. When I get lazy and go a few days without washing my hair, this shampoo cuts through all that grease easily and effectively. I don't have to go in for a second round like I do with other shampoos.I would recommend this shampoo, especially if you have oily hair like me and you're tired of the "lather-rinse-repeat" routine (does that remind anyone else of Ethan Craft??).Overall, a good shampoo. I am still waiting for the day when a shampoo can keep my hair oil-free for multiple days in a row, though. I dream of that day.

I’ve been using a tea tree anti-dandruff shampoo due to scalp irritation, but noticed that it was leaving buildup on my hair and scalp. I used this grapefruit clarifying shampoo and my hair is nice and clean again. The smell of grapefruit is strong, but after my hair dried, it left a light clean scent. I lathered and rinsed, then lathered again and let it set for a few minutes before rinsing, and it worked. I’ll be using this a few times a month, to remove any buildup.

The smell is something to get used to but it doesn’t smell bad. Helped a lot with my hair falling out, now it’s a lot less noticeable!
