Needed this part and it worked immediately.

Honestly I only changed the speaker because I was changing the screen, I had always just accepted that my phone was difficult to hear and didn't play videos very loud... little did I know that it was simply a worn out speaker that was the problem the whole time (like since it was new it seemed) This thing has been amazing and went straight in without a problem at all!

It is pretty easy to do just very fiddly working with the tiny screws. My old speaker was hopeless and anything above half way was overly distorted and this has made it back to normal.Word of warning, in my 8plus when I opened up the case there is a ribbon at the top connecting the bottom to the camera/speaker and it was brittle and split as I opened the phone up, had to order a new cable as well which is a pain to fit but this goes under a cover held by 4 tiny little screws and sits on the contact points so easy enough to do just be careful with the connecting ribbons.
