Want to know what the show "The Bear" is all about?
Juli Solar does a fantastic job of documenting the process behind one of the world's best restaurant, that does not exist any longer. Whilst watching The Bear, I can't help but see these processes in play throughout each episode, AND you get recipes. Now just spend tens of thousands of dollars on machines to make them, but for me it is a valuable addition to my hoarde of cookbooks, and will help me develop dishes worthy of my friends/families adoration. BTW: Kudos to the seller of this book for wrapping not one, or twice, but thriest! With plenty of extra padding in the box as well.

top book on being a chef - the chef mindset - ever.... nothing compares
so , yeah most chef books - nice pics - glossy - well shot photos - recipes - some relevant copy - this book - has notes - sections to understand the mindset - answering the why of most things - yeah - mcgee is great - french laundry book is ok, escoffier of course - anything by bocusse - waiting for a good trosgrois book - but if you want one book - just one big a** book - take it with you everywhere - keep for life - read -learn - re read - and understand - this is the best book on food / restaurants ever.... i went to culinary school in 93 - been in and out of the biz since - no book compares to this.... a must read
