So as most of us hair coloured enthusiasts tend to do…I bought this Midnight Indigo Blue and the different shades I got thrilled my soul. It’s beautiful. Especially when I step out into the sun. My gray hair picked up the color, very intensely, not disappointed. I love the different shades of blue that I got in there even after doing a keratin treatment that had already lightened my hair. I thought why not let’s see what the gray hairs will do the darker parts of my hair, so I’m quite content with this as a person who home dyes their hair. It’s not something to rush as it does stain and it stains solid. Maybe it’s just my type of hair, but I appreciate how there was no mixing involved from start to finish. I purchased a conditioning cap and left the dye in for 45 minutes to an hour and rinsed it several times until the water came out light blue then I did a light wash with a shampoo that’s conditioning but doesn’t leave too much residue and this looks really well. So once it starts to fade, I’m gonna do a keratin treatment to see what happens and purchase again. I am quite happy with this. You have to take note of the initial colouring of your hair. If you’re not going to bleach it, you have to factor in what applying a hair dye is going to do without a lightening agent. I’m very happy with Splat. My last picture is of my hair in it’s unstyled state, several days after using Splat. Though you are going to get a blue green color. **Q: Does this come with gloves, and conditioner?** A: Gloves, yes. Conditioner, no. **Q: Do I have to use all the dye at once or can I save for future use?** A: You CAN save the extra dye for future use, but you have to make sure the tip is protected from drying out. I use a nitrile glove to cover mine. I use the "middle finger" of the glove and pull it tight over the tip to the bottom of the "lid". After I have that covered, I stretch the glove down to the bottom of the bottle and twist it tight. Then I put it back in the box until my next touch-up. I am still on my 2nd bottle, and I started coloring it on New Year's Eve. It says it can last 30 washes ... and I wash my hair daily, so I have washed my hair 77 times. **Q: Q:Does this dye color gray hairs. i want to know if it will color my white/gray hairs?** A: It certainly does! Still love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vibrant but staining *by A***R on 7 January 2025* My hair is naturally dark with grey throughout. It's non porous and fast drying and tends to pick up most colours and brands easily. I know now why they call this Splat. It's a generous amount of colour but extremely liquid. I lined my floor with card board boxes and plastic underneath just in case. It stained my forehead and scalp pretty bad. I sure it will take about a week to come off entirely. The colour I used was an amethyst and not a blue. It shows up more blue in the photo than it is. Overall I'm pleased with the results. I was going darker from a vibrant plum colour. Note of caution, other than the staining prepare for this to be a colour that doesn't come out. I've seen a lot of videos that show it's almost impossible to lift. I was committed to this shade. Another plus of this product is that it didn't have any developer so my hair doesn't feel damaged.
