What do the page numbers start at and if you buy more than one book, will they start over or continue in order?

Each book has a separate set of numbers and if you buy more than 1 book, the numbers may not be sequential. I usually buy 20 books and there may be one pair that are sequential. The sales books numbers have 6 digits and 50 receipts in each book. You can also buy the same product in Walmart and Office Depost, but I have found selection to be hit and miss so that is why I buy from Amazon.

Do they have an odor? I've bought some in past that have smelled like machinery

I didn’t notice any odor, and I’m pretty sensitive to that kind of thing. Chemically smelling stuff gives me a headache.
