I bought these radios on a whim, and thought they probably aren't going to be as good as advertised. I was extremely surprised and very satisfied with the way these little radios work. With each radio coming with a speaker mic, and a separate charger for each radio which makes recharging each radio a lot faster. My first test was to see how well they would work in my home. We have a 2 story home with a basement. I went into the basement and had a conversation with my daughter over the radio, and she was on the 2nd floor. The next test convinced me that I am buying the 6 piece kit. I had to fly to Mississippi to help one of my children move, and we were going to be driving 3 different vehicles, and I thought it would save on our cellphones, and all 3 of us would hear the same conversation at the same time. I thought it would be a great test to see if they would work between vehicles on the trip up. The radios worked flawlessly. We were separated a couple of miles or more due to traffic sometimes, and we never lost contact. We traveled on flat & hilly terrain, and even got into some smaller mountains. The trip took us almost 10 hours, and we never had one go down on us. The battery life was great, and the audio was crystal clear. We came upon someone else using the same channel during the trip, and with 16 pre-programmed channels available, it wasn't an issue. When we got back we had to travel another 3 hours the following day and didn't get a chance to charge any of the radios but again, they worked great. We still never lost a radio to a dead battery, and it was priceless to have them when I had to back up a trailer with a car on it inside an apartment complex parking lot. I am going to order the larger kit as I stated before. I don't know how they will work for someone traveling in the woods or on a trail but they worked great for us. The radios also come with an operators manual that is well written, and explains how to use these gems. Don't let the lower price of these radio's scare you away. They work great!

These were a life saver! And for the price, definitely worth it. They work just as described. Everything was an easy setup and put together. Charge holds up really well. These were used at a youth event with over 200 people present. Communication was great, no cuts. The ear pieces also worked well but because the round ear part is big it didn't stay snug. Other then that it helped the flow of the event and security seeminglessly! They are not too bulky and perfect weight. They also look very professional.

My grandson loved these!! They stay charged long enough and the distance you can use them at is great! This is a great product/toy! Worth every penny!

Brought this for a family cruise to communicate with them while we were doing our own things. They reached long range and they were good most of the time. Sometimes they cut-out.

Great product. They are really easy to use, after you get the hang of it.We traveled to Italy and Denmark for about ten days, one adult with a 9 year old and an 11 year old. We visited crowded museums in Rome, Florence and Venice. If we did not have these walkie talkies, it would have been a lot of waiting and looking around, let alone the worry of getting lost and missing each other. These walkie talkies allowed us to wander around (including kids sitting on a museum bench waiting for the adult to finish looking at art) without worrying about losing each other in the crowd. It’s essential for us traveling with kids, but should also be useful if traveling just with adults, given they often have better receptions than cellphones if within short distance or in more remote areas.A great buy overall. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought it for 39.99 on April 15. I just wanted something cheap to use at work and this is great! Sometimes the mic doesn't work and we have to turn it off and back on, but its not a big enough issue for me to remove a star. I charge them every night and they survive our chatter during 9+ hour long shifts. I forgot to charge them one day and they still survived the day.TLDR; worth the price and get the job done

It’s been two days. So far so good. I got them to keep track of my kid around the small town I vacation at in Wisconsin. These radios are more than sufficient for that so far. They seem durable enough. Have been dropped a few times with no issues so far. Max range I’ve tested is just over half a mile with buildings and wilderness between the two radios. No issues. For the price they seem great.

The hands-free kit is very fragile; one of them broke the day after using it. I'd say the sound (voice) is an 8 out of 10. It's not a clean transmission; there's little noise compared to good-brand radios. If what you need is something quick and affordable, I recommend it. If you have to talk a lot on the radio, I recommend using the best brands on the market.
