A great piece of monitoring equipment.
I live in an area and home that has a radon mitigation system installed but still like to keep an eye on the levels. I love the ease of use and, while it does not have an external LED screen to give exact readings, you can get a general idea of your radon level by the light on the device: green, yellow or red depending on your last reading. I was able to test another home with it just by unplugging it and bringing it there for twenty-four hours, so the portability is convenient as well if you own multiple homes of rentals. It seems built well enough for what it does, and I am very satisfied with the service it provides for the money I paid. At the end of the day, it's about peace of mind and, as far as I'm concerned, this is one of the cheaper things out there that you can purchase to provide that.

Nice accurate unit
Just remember to pause the 5 Ghz band on your router when first setting up the device. I have had it working for about 3 weeks now with no problems. Accuracy is spot on with side by side comparison using very expensive radon detectors.

ACCURATE, CONTINUOUS RADON GAS MONITORING EASILY CHECKED VIA YOUR SMARTPHONE!
We bought the EcoSense Eco100 Ecoqube after getting a professional radon test and we wished to have continuous monitoring afterwards. Data from the compact device correlates almost exactly to NIST-certified test results. We like that the sensing unit plugs into a wall outlet (no batteries needed!) and can be easily read from a simple smartphone app. This means you can get an updated reading from anywhere! The unit is simple and easy to set up using your home Wifi to connect to your phone. Very cool device!!!

Handy monitor
I bought this at the suggestion of one of the radon mitigation contractors I talked to. It was about the same price as having them do it, and no wait like there would be with a one-use test. Setup was easy, although the print on the paper instructions could be larger. The app is great, giving an update each hour. I found my level to be in the mid to upper 20s, so of course had mitigation done. It's been a week and a half and still measuring about 7, so more work will be needed. The level did go below 2 when I was able to open a few windows all day, so I feel the EcoQube is reliable. As the weather got colder, I could no longer open windows, and the radon level rose accordingly. The contractor wants me to test with a one-use test in about a week and compare with the EcoQube. As a data geek, I appreciate being able to monitor the radon levels, but will feel a lot more comfortable when the level is below 4.

Works
We did a couple of those hardware store mail in radon test's. Both said we had high radon. We decided to get this to monitor the readings more closely. We tracked things for a couple of weeks. It does a good job of recording things in the app. We did end up getting a radon remediation system. The reasons I only gave it 4 stars was the unit does not have a digital display and the app does not allow you to print the data in the graph form it shows. You can print the data in text form.

Expensive Paperweight
I live in a high risk area with radon being and issue in many homes, so I has happy to find a product that could give me a good reading and potentially help with motoring a mitigation system if I needed one. I had it set up for the 7 days required to start getting a good reading and it started to return an above average grade, bouncing between 4-6. I reached out to a mitigation device installation company and the guy that ran it recommended I run a few lab test kits first to confirm before I spend 3k on installation of his device. I'm glad I followed his advice. All three kits over the following weeks reported at 1.2 or lower. Not only that, at 22 days, the EcoQube stopped connecting to WIFI. I reset the device to no avail and reached out to their support team. The email I got back was the FAQ copy pasted to me about my router is the wrong GHz (no its broadcasting 2.4), or my app needed to be reinstalled. I attempted their fixes and still getting nothing but a read blinking light. Replying to the support tickets since has lead to silence and no follow up from them.Summary:*Inaccurate readings*Device failed after 22 days of operationAt this point its an expensive paperweight that's not even heavy enough to do that job.
