Used to raise the PH of our well water so as not to eat away at the pipes.

When my PH increaser soda ash came, I was surprised to find one bag instead of two plastic, resealable bags as listed in the product description. Being elderly, I enlisted a friend to pour the bag into an empty bucket I had. This increaser is cheaper than the pool supply stores because it ships free on Amazon. It works great at raising my PH level. It is not clumpy and disolves quickly. It also appears pure soda ash.

Very good pricing for 50lbs of soda ash! Item was received in 1 large 50lb bag different from item show on web site. I transfer the soda ash to plastic containers for storage.

Product was in a paper bag with no plastic liner. The bag was in a box too large, flimsy and inadequately sealed. Because of a three inch gash in the paper bag, there was a trail of spilt soda ash 60ft up my walkway to my door. There is no telling how much was lost just getting to my house. This is a purchase from In the Swim. I’ve bought a lot from them in the past and this is the worst shipment I have ever gotten from anyone. They should query their supplier, Thatcher Co..

Be aware, if you're ordering the 50 lb bag, it comes in a paper sack. It is not an easy to handle plastic bag as shown in the picture. It's very messy once it's open. You should plan to transfer it to a bucket or two.
