I don't understand your question "Border" Only on the one side is like an extra peel as they are assuming you are using the whole large dressing for a large open wound. It is thin - maybe around 1/16" but definitely thicker than bandages so it works well. I have cut it into the sizes I need whenever my mom gets a pressure sore. Thank God she has healed up and these really help her heal much faster.

Yes the hydrocolloid bandage is latex free. You can also cut to size which is economical for small wounds that are hard to heal.

Painless removal works like a charm, comfortable like a 2 nd skin

I have used duoderm similar products this one is excellent.This is medical grade performance, knowing what to watch for to change the dressing is the key.The product will bubble up at the wound or turn white...remove the dressing clean the wound dry a bit and replace with a new one.This product DOES NOT STICK TO THE WOUND.
